Study On Monitoring & Controlling Xinjiang Airtight Sheep House In Winter Season's Air Environmental Quality

The research's test site is Changji Huaxin Breeder base of Xingjiang.During winter of Year 2006-2007,we monitored and tested air environmental quality situation inside airtight sheep house.The result is as follows:Experiment I The experiment was conducted to observe and analyze the air environment conditions in one airtight breeding sheep house. The results showed that the average concentrations of ammonia were 35.0 mg/m3,36.7mg/ m3 and 44.2 mg/ m3 on 0.6m, 1.6m and 3.0m-height layer respectively, and that on 3.0m-height layer was significantly higher than that on 0.6m and 1.6m-height layer (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference between that on 0.6m and 1.6m-height layer (P>0.05) .The average concentrations of hydrogen sulfide were 0.0039mg/ m3,0.0027mg/ m3 and 0.0030mg/ m3 on 0.6m, 1.6m and 3.0m-height layer respectively, and there was no significant difference between that on the layers (P>0.05). The average concentrations of carbon dioxide were 2571mg/ m3, 2593mg /m3 and 2581mg/ m3 on 0.6m, 1.6m and 3.0m-height layer respectively, and there was no significant difference between that on the layers (P>0.05). In the shed, the concentrations of NH3, H2S and CO2 had certain diurnal variation, the average daytime concentrations of three kind of gas were lower than that at night. But there was a certain correlation between the various environmental factors in the sheep house, which the level of temperature was influential obviously to NH3 and CO2 concentrations, the TSP and PM10 concentrations were affected significantly by air humidity change, fecal moisture content had also remarkable effect on NH3 concentration, there were significant relevance between them.Experiment II The experiment was conducted observation and analysis of air environment conditions in three airtight breeding sheep houses, the aim is to check how to improve the air quality effect of sheep house by two ways - Biopowder and ventilation. The results indicated that ,①Average density of H2S and CO2 among the comparison group, the ventilation group and the Biopowder group is no significant differ- ence(P>0.05); For NH3's density inside sheep house, the ventilation group and the Biopowder group is very significant lower than the comparison group(P<0.01), and there was no significant difference between other each group (P>0.05).②For TN density from sheep excrement, there has downward trend in the Biopowder group, decrease 17.6%, but no significant difference between group and group(P>0.05);At the same time, for TN3-N density, there has upward trend in the Biopowder group, increase 36.0%, density of this group is quite higher than the comparison group(P<0.05), other group–to- group is no significant (P>0.05).③For TN density of three groups sheep urine, there has certain undulatory change, no significant difference among groups (P>0.05); While, for NH3-N density , there has upward trend in the Biopowder group, increase 38.8%, the density is significant higher than the comparison group and the ventilation group(P<0.05),and no significant difference in other group-to-group(P>0.05).④There has low change range of volatilizing of NH3 in Sheep excrement between the comparison group and the ventilation group, for Biopowder group, volatilizing of NH3 change rise first down later, the average volatilizing is 50.6%, 26.2% higher than the comparison group and the ventilation group, respectively, group-to-group is no significant (P>0.05); While, for H2S's volatilizing of the comparison group and the ventilation group, there has certain undulatory change, there has downward trend in the Biopowder group, the average volatilizing is 27.6%, 12.8% lower than the comparison group and the ventilation group respectively, group-to-group is no significant (P>0.05).⑤For bacterium inside sheep house, Biopowder group is significant lower than the comparasion group and the ventilation group, the ventilation group is lower than the comparasion group, but is no significant difference. For excrement water content, the ventilation group is significant lower than the comparasion group and the Biopowder group(P<0.05); For density of TSP and PM10, there has no obvious difference among the three groups(P>0.05).⑥For temperature inside sheep house, the ventilation group is obviously lower than the comparasion group(P<0.05); For relative humidity, the ventilation group and Biopowder group is significantly lower than the comparasion group(P<0.05); For air pressure, wind speed, light, noise factors, no significant difference among these groups.This study indicates that: there has dynamic change rule in factor-to-factor inside sheep house in winter season, the relevance happen on factor-to-factor; Under two ways of controlling ventilation and adding Biopowder, air quality inside sheep house can be significantly improved, then air environment of sheep house can meet animal shed request standard at green cultivation .
