This paper chooses long-term fencing mountain pasture which is managed by the Academia Sinica Bayanbulak ecology station as investigated object, to carry on field monitor on three lawn types——Sub-alpine prairie, the Sub-alpine prairie meadow, the Sub-alpine meadow prairie, respectively. And how the prairie fencing influence the biodiversity, soil microorganism and soil enzyme activities have been studied, which will provide essential information for restoring the natural pasture biodiversity, formulating land utilization plan, and evaluating soil quality. The results are as follows:1. After long-term fenced, the ingestion intensities in plant biodiversity outside is higher than inside, but plant aboveground biomass, plant height, plant coverag inside are higher than outside.2. After long-term fenced, the quantity of microorganism inside is higher than outside, the discrepancy is remarkable. The percentge of soil bactera accounts for the main party in the soil microorganism composition, next is actinomycete, the fungi is the least; and the surface layer is higher than the lower party in the vertical distribution of the soil microorganisms. It gradually decreases in the soil distribution along with the depth. No matter inside and outside the rail, the Characteristic of soil microorganism have obvious relevance with physical and chemical property of soil.3. After long-term fenced, soil enzyme activities inside in three kind of pasture are higher than that of outside, and no matter inside and outside the rail, these four kind soil enzyme activities are remarkable discrepancy. The trends of soil enzyme activities in the same profile are very similar, and the surface layer is higher than the lower party, but except urea enzyme.4. Soil enzyme activities and siol physicochemical properties have a very close relationship. Soil water content, soil organic matter, available N, P and K all have the certain relevance with each kind of soil enzyme activity. Urea enzyme, surase enzyme, hydrogen peroxidase enzyme have a very close relationship with microbial biomass except phosphatase enzyme.
