Stripe rust, caused by Puccinias triiformisf. sp .tr itici(P ST),is one of the most damaging diseases in common wheat(Triticum aestivumL .).Identification of stripe rustresistance genes in wheat cultivars or lines is important for gene deployment and breeding cultivars with stripe rust resistance to control the disease.The research included two parts, Detection of stripe rust resistant genes in Huanghuai wheat region by molecular markers and gentics analysis of Guinong775 to CY32.We do stripe rust resistance test using Chinese popular races CY32 and Su14,then Detect of stripe rust resistant genes Yr5,Yr10,Yr15,Yr26 and1B/1R by molecular markers. Out of 126 cultivars,11 cultivars show immunity or nearly immunity to both races,account for 8.73%. 1B/1R account for 41.6%. Out of 14 cultivars showing resistance to CY32,six carrying Yr5,four carrying Yr10,four carrying Yr15,three carrying Yr26,we did not find these gene in Zhoumai17,0020-332 and N19.There are three closely linked rust resistance genes, Lr37-Yr17-Sr38 ,in wheat translocation lines containing the 2NS segment from Ae.ventricosum. this cluster provide resistance to a wide range of races and can be used in combination with other rust resistance genes. The objective of this work was to identify the wheat cultivars containing the Lr37-Yr17-Sr38 by PCR marker specific for the N genome and CAPS marker. Out of 126 cultivars,12 cultivars(Lankao906,Zheng2062,Xinong739,Shan872,Xiaoyan216,Shan538,Shan515 , Datang991 , 0020-332 , 2871 and378) were identified to contain the Lr37-Yr17-Sr38.By Pedigree analyzing. We presume Lankao906 is one of the most important mainly diffuse cultivar of Lr37-Yr17-Sr38 in China.We use CY23, CY29 ,CY31 ,CY32 and mixed races to test infection type of Guinong775 in seeding and adult stages. Guinong775 show immunity or nearly immunity to these races.we do genetic analysis of guinong775 to CY32 using F2,BC1and F3. The results obtained from the F2,BC1and F3 populations indicated that the stripe rust resistance of Guinong775 was controlled by a single dominant gene.
