Study On Applying ALA In Greenhouse Vegetable

At the Sunlight Greenhouse experiment,we studied the effect of three fluid fertilizers {5-aminolevulinic acid(ALA),5-aminolevulinic acid + N(ALA+N),LAK} on the growth, Chlorophyll Content Index(CCI),yield,quality and chill-resistance of leaf-used lettuce and tomato in the Loess Plateau.Its results as following:(1)The results showed that ALA,ALA + N(ALA3)and LAK increased the photosynthesis,enhanced Chlorophyll Content Index,increased the resistance,enhanced the yield and improved the quality of leaf-used lettuce.Liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK increased photosynthesis,Chlorophyll Content Index, the stomata conductance,intercellular CO2 concentration and transpiration rate of leaf-used lettuce leaves,increasing the accumulation of organic of leaf-used lettuce.The C treatment was the best one for photosynthetic rate,Chlorophyll Content Index,the stomata conductance, intercellular CO2 concentration and transpiration rate of leaf-used lettuce leaves.Compared with the control,there was a significant increase in the photosynthesis,Chlorophyll Content Index,the stomata conductance,intercellular CO2 concentration and transpiration rate of leaf-used lettuce,increased respectively by 34.7%,15.46%,55.58%,28.19%,30.64%.With the extension of time and the increase of spraying,the effect of liquid fertilizer on the photosynthesis and Chlorophyll Content Index more and more significantly increased.Liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK significantly increased the width and the length of leaf-used lettuce leaves.All fertilizer treatments were significantly better than the one (P<0.05).Compared with the control,all fertilizer treatments enhanced the yield leaf-used lettuce leaves,the C treatment was the best one for the yield increased by 41.6%and reached significant levels.There were significant levels between fertilization treatments.The quality of leaf-used lettuce has been improved,with vitamin C and soluble sugar content increased significantly.Compared with the control,vitamin C and soluble sugar content increased respectively by 4.4%- 17.0%,6.8%-10.6%,while the content of fiber and NO3- significantly reduced,so leaf-used lettuce taste is better and reduces the harm to the human.Compared with the control,fiber content and NO3- reduced by 11.0%- 15.3%,8.3%- 15.4%.There was an increase in SOD and CAT activity of leaf-used lettuce leaves with liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK,while the MDA content significantly reduced.The C treatment was the best one for SOD activity,increased by 77.50%to the control.The B treatment to the CAT activity was the best one,increased by 131.16%to the control.Compared with the control, ALA and LAK significantly decreased the MAD content,fell by 32.12%.So we draw a conclusion that liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK can increase the resistance of leaf-used lettuce.(2)The results showed that liquid fertilizer ALA,ALA + N(ALA3)and LAK increased the growth,Chlorophyll Content Index,the yield of the tomato and improved the quality of the tomato fruit,enhanced the chill-resistance of the tomato.With the increase of concentration and the increase of spraying,there were significant increases in Chlorophyll Content Index and the plant height of the tomato with three liquid fertilizer.The D treatment was the best one for Chlorophyll Content Index and the plant height of the tomato between the fertilizeration treatments,increased respectively by 17.15%, 27.18%to the control.Liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK increased the content of Vitamin C,soluble sugar and organic acid to the tomato fruit.Comprehensive analysis,the E treatment was the best one for the fruit quality.For the fruit yield of tomato,there was a most signific,ant increase in the B treatment.Compared with the control,the fruit yield of the tomato was increased by 14.4%. While the treatment D was the best one for the plant biologic yield of the tomato,increased by 13.93%to the control.The effects of liquid fertilizer on the fruit quality,the fruit yield and the plant biologic yield of the tomato are not completely consistent.There was an increase in SOD and CAT activity of tomato leaves with liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK,but the effects of fertilization were significant on SOD than CAT.And liquid fertilizer significantly reduced MAD content;there was a most significant decline in the treatment C.Compared with the control,MAD content fell by 47.5%.So we draw a conclusion that liquid fertilizer ALA and LAK can increase the resistance of the tomato in greenhouse.Comprehensive analysis,ALA and LAK on the greenhouse vegetables have significant effects,but the function mechanisms of three liquid fertilizers on leafy vegetables,melons and fruits vegetables are not exactly the same,therefore,the effects on the vegetables are not completely consistent.In conclusion,for the leafy vegetables leaf-used lettuce,the treatment C was the best one.For the fruit yield of melons and fruits vegetables,the treatment D was the best one;while the treatment E was the best one for the fruit quality.
