Our country is an great irrigation farming nation, and is also very scarce in water resources, thus developing water-saving agriculture is especially important. In this paper, the water retention property and moisture validity of different types of soils, and the revelated relationship between soil texture, soil structure, organic content, salt content and the agriculture useful water field capacity, wilding point, avalid water capacity were discussed ,And the linear model and non-linear model to forecast the farmland useful water were established. This study provides the theory basis for the fully disentombing of farmland water-saving potential, for the instructing of agriculture irrigation and the implementation of saving water agriculture, is of important theory significance and the practical application value for the using and managing of soil water resources in our country agricultural region and the the developing of water-saving agriculture.This article took the research item, the developing of the forecast system for the state of soil moisture retention as a backing. Based on the indoor and outside single factorial experiments, the mathematical relationship between the main physical parameters influening farmland useful water and the farmland useful water was systematically analized and studied, and the forecast models of multi-dimensional linear regression and the multi-dimensional misalignment regression, which is the relations between the farmland useful water and the soil convention physics and chemistry characters, had been established. The confirmatiing to the model had been carried on through statistical analysis's method. The forecasting of the farmland useful water with the help of the conventional physics and chemistry parameters of soils has been realizedThe findings indicates: the soil texture, structure, organic content and salt content have an influence on the useful water field capacity and the wilting point and the avalid water content, and are the primary influence factors.The established models to forecast the farmland useful water such as field capacity, wilting point and avalid water content with the conventional soil physics parameters include the multi-dimensional linear regression model and the multi-dimensional misalignment regression.The model input parameters are the soil texture, soil structure, soil organic content and e salt content. Through the comparison, the forecast precision of multi-dimensional misalignment regression model is higher than the multi-dimensional linear model, therefore,it is suggested that ,the multi-dimensional misalignment model should been used to forecast to the farmland useful water forecast.
