Propolis is a valuable natural resource,with anti-oxidation,removing radical, anti-bacterial,anti-inflammatory effects.Because of their physiological activity components,propolis has a variety of pharmacological effects and clinical application, so the study of extraction,separation and antioxidative activities of effective components in propolis had an important practical value.The papers focus on the extraction and antioxidative activities of effective components in propolis,that is,using different methods to extract and separate the effective components in propolis and analysis samples for chemical composition; Using chemiluminescence and spectrophotometry for determining the abilities of scavenging free radicals in analytes;Using oil oxidation model and antioxidation in vitro model for determining the abilities of inhibiting lipid oxidation in analytes; discussing the dose-effect relationship between the effective components and antioxidative activities in propolis;Furthermore,determining propolis Soft Capsule antioxidative activities to evaluate its health function.The results shows that,ethanolic extract of propolis which contains the most flavonoids had strong activities on scavenging·O2- and DPPH·and inhibiting oil oxidation and lipid oxidation;The antioxidative activities of the essential extract of supercritical fluid CO2 extract of propolis and the extract of residue of propolis took second place,and correlated with the compound of terpene and flavonoids possibly.In the analytes of column chromatography separation of supercritical CO2 extract,the analyte eluted by petroleum ether had no antioxidative activity on the whole,which correlated with its components were alkyl basically;the analyte eluted by ethyl acetate had stronger effect on scavenging·OH and inhibiting oil oxidation than the analyte eluted by ethanol;the analyte eluted by ethanol had stronger effect on scavenging·O2-and DPPH·and inhibiting lipid oxidation in vitro than the analyte eluted by ethyl acetate.Wang's propolis Soft Capsule had better effects on scavenging·O2-,·OH and DPPH·and inhibiting oil oxidation and lipid oxidation by using chemiluminescence, spectrophotometry,oil oxidation model and antioxidation in vitro model,and it showed that propolis Soft Capsule had significant antioxidative activities.In flavonoids,the effective group is phenol hydroxy group,and B-o-di-OH is primary on scavenging·O2-,·OH and inhibiting lipid oxidation,and that the main effects of 3-OH,4-OH,5-OH are inhibit oil oxidation.Structure-activity relationship of flavonoids should be further studied.
