The fungus is the important source for the bio-active products.Among them,the exploitation of the bio-active products from mushrooms received much more attention.As fugal polysaccharides,protein and enzyme are economically high valued,many commercial products have been developed.As demanding of market,it is very important to find effective way to improve the enzyme activity,the biomass of the bio-active products,and the microbial culture methods.The elicitor is widely applied in plant suspension culture,but it's less used in microbial culture.Rencent findings demnstated that some fungal polysaccharides use as elicitor could increase the yield of the target bio-active products from microorganisms.The objective of this study is to assess the effects of the crude polysaccharides from Mycogone pernzctosa Magn as a elicitor,on the mycelium biomass,cellulase activity,contents of proteins and polysaccharides,and the patterns of the esterase isozyme of Ganoderma lucidum,Coriolus versicolor,Lepista sordida and Pleurotus platypus.The results obtained are shown in the following:Certain concentration of the elicitor could sigificantly increase the biomass of the four tested mushrooms.The biomass of mycelium increased with the increasing of the concentrations of the elicitor.In comparison with control,the mycelium biomass of the four tested mushrooms increased by 81.23~111.6%.The proteins content was increased as the same fashion as the mycelium biomass.The result of SDS-PAGE showed that the protein patterns and contents were significantly changed.When the the concentration of the elicitor was 600μg/ml,the inducing effect reached significant level.With the stimulation of elicitor,the cellulase activity from fermentation liquid increased along with the increasing of the concentrations of the elicitor.The increasing of the elicitor induced the changes of activation grade in isoenzyme, and get the isozyme band disappeared or increased.While the concentration of elicitor is 600μg/ml,the inducing effect reached significant level.The concentration of polysaccharides in fermentation liquid decreased sharply along with the increasing of concentrations of the elicitor.The result showed,in liquid culture system,when the concentration of the elicitor was between 600/μg/ml and 800/μg/ml,the inducing effect of crude polysaccharides from Mycogone pernzctosa Magn reached significant level.
