Study On The Phenological Law Of Allelopathical Activity Of Trifolium Repens Extracts Against Festuca Arundinacea

Allelopathy is one of hot topics in present studies. It affects the plants distribution, the form of community and evolution, the crops interplanting and so on, which is very close with the biodiversity protection as well as the farming and forestry and the gardening productive practice. Many ornamental plants have the allelopathy function. Plant allelochemicals which released by the ornamental plant have negative effect on the plants within its action range,which is an important attribute to affect the ornamental plant community stablility and the landscape sustainablility.Trifolium repens is the common ornamental plant. Research discovered that trifolium repens have the allelopathy function, but the research data is really few. Mostly the research only involves to the superficial phenomenon, the mechanism of allelopathy and the identification of allelochemicals is also very insufficient.This experiment took the common lawn grass, trifolium repens as the donor plant, festuca arundinacea as the acceptor plant, to study the effect of trifolium repens water extracts in different phenophase, spot and density on the germination and seedling growth of festuca arundinacea seed aiming to clarify the seasons rule, the function potential and the mechanism of trifolium repens on festuca arundinacea, and provide the scientific basis for the invasion mechanism of external weed, the development of biological weedicide, as well as the disposition of ornamental plant and the abundant harvest of agriculture and forest.In this experiment,the rootstock,leaf and rhizosphere soil was gathered respectively in different stage as the period of withered and yellow,seedling establishment,flowering and seed mature to prepare 0.15g/ml, 0.1g/ml and the 0.05g/ml water extract solution. With the prepared water extract solution to study the effect on the sprout, seedling height, root longth, biomass, chloroplast pigment content, root system vitality, SOD activity, MDA content.Research showed that:1 .The allelopathy ability of trifolium repens water extract solution varied with the different phenophase. As for the germination of festuca arundinacea, the suppressive effect of water extracts was extremely obvious in the seed mature period.2.The water extracts in different spot had different allelopathy ability. Generally speaking, the leaf water extracts mostly influenced the germination and growth of festuca arundinacea.3. The allelopathy ability also differed from different density of water extracts as for the trifolium repens.
