Effects of different kinds of exogenous chemicals ALA and CaCl2 on jinchunNo.4 variety (salt-resistance) (Cucumis sativus L.) and jinzaNo.2 variety (salt-sensitivity) were studied in autumn and spring under NaCl Stress. There were two concentrations of (150mmol/l, 250 mmol/l) NaCl stress. The physiological,biochemical characteristics and total yield of cucumber were investigated. It shows that exogenous chemicals ALA and CaCl2 can increase crops yields remarkably,at last reduce salt injury. The whole results were bellows:1, In autumn experiment: The physiological,biochemical characteristics and total yield of ALA and CaCl2 treatment were much better than comparison. ALA was much better than CaCl2 treatment. It can increase solution protein about 27%-34.9%, reduce MDA content about 15.7%-45.6%, improve root activity during initial bloom about 35.8%-45.6%, increase the ability of cucumber to resistant salt; at last improve production under salt stress. Compared with contrast production of jinchunNo.4 increased 24.9%,52.3% , production of jinzaNo.2 increased 21.1%,59.3% relatively under ALA. At the same time it shows that ALA had different effect working time on different varieties of cucumber; it worked much better on jinchunNo.4 in initial bloom, on jinzaNo.2 in fruit-bearing. CaCl2 didn't have the time difference.2, In spring, considering the results of autumn experiment, there set different concentrations of ALA. Different ALA concentration all had effect ions on cucumber salt resistance, but 0.1g/m2 ALA worked much better, compared with contrast production of jinchunNo.4 increased 32.6%,37.8% , production of jinzaNo.2 increased 26.7%,17.8%. It can increase POD,SOD,CAT activity about 25%-37%,1.2%-11.2%,7.4%-11.9%, chlorophyll content about7.6%-7.9%, at last increase the activity of cucumber to resistant salt. But it had no effect ion on both varieties of cucumber's VC content.In a word, ALA and CaCl2 treatment can reduce salt injury remarkably on cucumber, ALA worked better than CaCl2, and 0.1g/m2ALA was much better compared with other concentration. Both ALA,CaCl2 worked well on different concentration of salt stress but did't has remarkably difference. ALA had much better effect ion on the better salt resistant variety jinchunNo.4, but has no effect ion on Vc content...
