The by-products of farm products, maceration water of rice bran and corn etc., are used as raw materials to produce inositol in China. The maceration water is neutralizde, precipitated to form the phytin, which is then hydrolyzed to inositol. As to this method, what the the problem is fussy technics, low product quality, serious contamination, and intens labour. Therefore, it's necessary to develop a new method to produce inositol, improving technology level, simplifying the process, enhancing inositol receiving rate, reducing the cost and pollution, lightening the work intensity, and improving the market competitive abilitis. On the ground of investigation and research of the domestic and foreign technology of inositol, we studied on the maceration water of corn as the raw material, using ISEP to prepare the inositol; The optimal technology parameters are determined, and the process is better than that metioned in other literatures in process, material consumption, production receiving rate and quality. Accoding to the experiment, the inositol output ratio is more than 85%, purity more than 99.5%, better than the results reported in other analogous papers(ratio more than 80%, purity more than 99.4%). The method we adopted widely simplify the procedure , lower the consumption of energy, effectively improve the inositol receiving rate, and promoted effective usage of the resourses, and provided a technology guarantee for the continuable development of corn deep usage plants.
