A 3s-based Study Of The Investigation Into Hariturege National Forest Park

Digital Forestry, being an integral part of Digital Earth, is a key way to realize the sustainable development of forest resources and environment, the goal of which is chieved by the vital technology of 3s. Based on the access to spatial data sources, 3s technology has the good current situation, essential precision, nicer authenticity and reasonable density through the automatic data acquisition, processing, mapping and statistical analysis of the map data.In order to provide the scientific stastical basis to the plan and management of Hariturege National Forest Park, protect the forest resources and speed up the ecological environment construction, the present research first selected 2005 TM Images and the latest resources survey data of Hariturege National Forest Park for the basic data, choosed 1:100,000 topographic maps and related maps and statistical information as the supporting data, used GIS, RS, GPS and its integrated GPS technology-3S as the tools with the remote sensing image processing software ERDAS8.6 and geographic information system software SuperMap2003 for the platform, produce the 2005 chart forest resources distribution map and the farm ecology position chart of Hariturege Forest Forest Park with field data collection and on-the-spot investigation through the satellite picture processing analysis and information extraction , and attained the information of the area of forest resources, coverage, as well as distribution condition of the trees from different types and different origins.The forest resources investigation digitization, dynamics and the forest management informationization have been achieved through the 3S technology utilized in the forest resources investigation, the map manufacture and the statistical analysis of Hariturege National Forest Park, which reduced the tradition investigation method field operation work load, increased the investigation precision and the working efficiency, demonstrated the broad application prospect of the 3S technology in the forestry production practice.
