Neem, botanically referred to as Azadirachta indica A .Juss, is a tropical evergreen tree which belongs to Meliaceae. Azadirachtin, extracted from neem's kernel ,is a worldwide-recognized excellent biological pesticide, and now was applied in many countries in the world. The azadirachtin is one of secondary metabolisms. The azadirachtin content can be infected by heredity and environment. Finding the factors which infecting the AZ content then artificial disturb neem plantation to increase it's azadiatachtin content. Based on the continunous investigation of Azadirachtin content for three and four years, the variation of the Azadirachtin content among years had found. Comparing the Azadirachtin content of mother plants and grafted panst, different grafted plants of the same kind of clone, to find the genetic stability of the Azadirachtin content. Through some comparative experiments, ascertaining the effect of illumination, temperature, soil fertility, mechanical injury, different harvesting time, different treatment of fruits and seeds and on the content of Azadirachtin. The results are as follows:1. For the same individual neem tree, Az-A content was significant different and Az-B content was extremely significant different, while Az-(A+B) was no significant different for different observed years.2. There were obvious significant of Az-A,Az-(A+B) content between mother plant and it's grafted pant, while Az-B content was no significant different. Az-A,Az-B,Az-(A+B) content between different grafted individual trees which are the same clone were no significant different..3. The Azadirachitn content in the kernel of the immature fruits and the early ripe fruits is higher than the later ripe fruits; The maturity period did not effect on the output of Azadirachtin; The best peeled time was 5-10 days after fruits harvested; The maximum Azadirachtin content was reached when the neem seed was insolated 10~20 days; During storage, the content of Aza-A decreased with time. While Aza-B content increased firstly, and then going down. Fertilization and shade treatment at the end of florescence decreased azadirachtin content.4. Grafting methods can be used to improve the quality of the Azadirachta indica platation for the purpose of Azadirachtin production.
