This study takes for Maowusu sandland biological soil crusts and the lower crust of soil for research. Artemisa ordosica, Salix psammophila, Hedysarum laeve, as three kinds of different vegetation conditions, the base of two kinds of different site type of slopes, as well as biological soil crust lower biological nutrient soil type, crust thickness, pH, water content and other studies of soil organisms, to discuss impact on different vegetation crust of soil nutrients and water. The results showed that the thickness of biological crust related to cover and formation time of vegetation, the biological crust's pH value of shrub Artemisa ordosica and shrub Salix psammophila lower than shrub Hedysarum leave and quicksand covered, the biological crust on the soil nutrient enrichment has obvious, and for the shrub Artemisa ordosica > shrub Salix psammophila > shrub Hedysarum laeve > quicksand. Under the conditions of different slope position node cortex biological soil nutrients more or less higher than the same vegetation exists under the base of the slope. The existence of biological crust soil water content due to and above the control flow of sand.
