| Wood nondestructive technology is a new and comprehensive wood testing technology. On the condition of nondestructive appearance and structure of wood,testing internal defects of wood correctly,it is an effective method to utilize forest resource,and it is significant for selecting wood scientifically.In the paper some kinds of often used wood nondestructive methods were compared with and valued,and finally X-ray nondestructive testing method was chosen as wood nondestructive testing method.Compared with conventional methods,the superiority and feasibility of X-ray nondestructive method were set forth in the practice application.Wood decay is one of wood common defects;there is research value if it is used as research object.As a result of the influences of imaging and signal transmission,the decayed wood images researched in this article contain noises in the gathering process,therefore needs to carry on pretreatments as histogram equalizing,filter and so on,in order to enhance gray scale contrast and filter the noises,to make the image processed effect better and convenient for the image later process.Based on mathematical morphology theory,this article applies two kinds of mathematics morphology algorithms to conduct the research to the wood decay X-ray images.One method is on the basis of the property of wood decay X-ray image,structuring elements of smooth diamond are chosen appropriately;At the same time,based on mathematics morphology gradient algorithm,improved mathematical morphological double-gradient algorithm is proposed by weight adding combination of erosion,dilation,opening and closing operations. We combined the improved morphological double-gradient algorithm above with image processing function of the MATLAB software,carries on edge detection to the wood decay image collected.The other one is that we propose the morphology optimization algorithm on the combination of morphological four primary algorithms,applies them to edge processing. Compared with the effect images which are processed by using traditional edge detection algorithms such as the gradient algorithm,the Log algorithm and the Canny algorithm,the two methods above appear the superiority in edge detection.The experimental results proof that wood decay can be located accurately when mathematics morphology theory is applied in the examination of wood internal decay defects. Moreover this method is suitable similarly for the other wood internal defects examination. Therefore,a new theory method for the wood defects image processing is proposed in this paper. |
