Control Results Of Sulfometuron Methyl On Eupatorium Adenoprum And Effects On The Activity Of Detoxifying Enzyme In Procecidochares Utilis

The five experiments were conducted to study the utilization of Procecidochares utilis to carry herbicide to control Eupatorium adenoprum, including the screening of herbicides, the differenciation of Eupatorium adenoprum sexual reproduction and vegetative propagation, the determination of acetylcholinesterase and carboxyle- sterase of the polypide of Crofton weed gall fly, the determination of Acetolactate Synthetase of Eupatorium adenoprum, Crofton weed gall fly carrying different concentrations of Sulfometuron methyl to control Eupatorium adenoprum, selected the best herbicide to control Eupatorium adenoprum. According to determining herbicide to the detoxifying enzyme in the body of Crofton weed gall fly and the safety of Crofton weed gall fly, as well as the preliminary assessment to the control efficiency, It was proved that it was feasibility to utilize Crofton weed gall fly to carry herbicide to control Eupatorium adenoprum. The results are as follows:(1) The screening of herbicides: Through a great quantity of herbicides selection, three herbicides were selected: 74.5% Sulfometuron methyl WP, 41% Glyphosate AS and 20% Chlorimuron-ethyl. 0.063g/m~2 Glyphosate and 0.004g/m~2 Chlorimuron-ethyl effected slowly to Eupatorium adenoprum, whole strain wilting, the top of plant bending, and shrivelled gradually with a death rate of 85.37% and 83.58% respectively. When 0.010g/m~2-0.038g/m~2 Sulfometuron methyl could cause Eupatorium adenoprum a death rate of 90%. Therefore Crofton weed gall fly were used to carry Sulfometuron methyl.(2) The differenciation of Eupatorium adenoprum sexual reproduction and vegetative propagation: seed germination rate of sexual propagation plants was 63.6% in two weeks and asexual plants was 46.9%.They were significantly different. The root length of plant cuttings of vegetative propagation was 1.10cm 10 days after planting, and the plant cuttings of sexual reproduction root length was 0.65cm. Experimental proof of sexual reproduction were breeding mainly in seeds, as a supplement to vegetative propagation; and cloning were planted by cuttings to plant breeding, seed multiplication as a supplement. (3) The determination of acetylcholinesterase and carboxylesterase of the polypid–e of Crofton weed gall fly: Sulfometuron methyl were applied in a concentration of 0.008g/m~2, 0.010g/m~2, 0.013g/m~2, 0.019g/m~2, 0.038g/m~2 to fly larvae zeeland. The higher concentration of herbicides and the longer treatment time, the lower acetyl- choline-sterase, carboxylesterase activity in fly larvae zeeland, 0.019g/m~2, 0.038g/m~2 ethyl were the most significant deal. The enzyme activity in 1d and 13d was 0.014-0.009, 0.010-0.001, 0.024-0.006, 0.021-0.003 (nmol·mg-1·min-1).(4) The determination of Acetolactate Synthetase of Eupatorium adenoprum: The death rate of Acetolactate Synthetase of Eupatorium adenoprum rised when the concentration of Sulfometuron methyl and the time increased 13 days after a treatment of 0.008g/m~2, the lowest death rate was 56.75%. The highest death rate was 98.8% in 0.038g/m~2 .(5) Crofton weed gall fly carrying different concentrations of Sulfometuron methyl to control Eupatorium adenoprum: the adult fly was not significantly affected by Sulfometuron methyl. Using Crofton weed gall fly with different concentrations and different ways to carry Sulfometuron methyl to control Eupatorium adenoprum showed that the measure directly spraying 100% Sulfometuron methyl on the plant was the best with the death rate of 100%, secondly was by spraying 20% Sulfometuron methyl, a significant rate of 42.39%. Followed by Crofton weed gall fly carrying 100% Sulfometuron methyl, the rate was 37.52%. The result indicated that Sulfometuron methyl was safe to Crofton weed gall fly, and it had certain effect in Eupatorium adenoprum control by the fly carrying Sulfometuron methyl . But the cost of this way was too high, it was 3.5 times to directly spraying 20% Sulfometuron methyl on the plants, so it can only be one kind of new theory basis to control Eupatorium adenoprum.
