| As the main one of the three major cotton-producing areas, Xinjiang has built the only national-level commodity cotton base and the most important high-quality cotton-producing areas. China's cotton market model machines are generally spindle-type cotton picker , due to the high cost of harvesting , cotton picker is in difficult universal. Comb-type cotton picker have simple structure and high cost-effective, but the technology was not mature.This article refers to the technical basis of cotton picker at home and abroad, do a design study.First of all, Discussing the principle of the whole explored cotton, the basic processes of picking cotton identify, clean up, recovery of, and identification of key technical problems combined with Xinjiang's cotton varieties, cultivation characteristics, local climatic conditions and harvest requirements, suggestions to improve the program. From the function, structure, application requirements, production technology, as well as economic benefits in terms of a demonstration program designed to pick table , the Qing-ling machine, light trailers, as well as machine drive system, and the core structure - Salisbury refers to assembly optimized design.In this paper, it establish a whole digital virtual prototyping and simulation of body movement and key technical parameters of detection, to identify design deficiencies and timely design of structural adjustment by using Pro / E .In this paper, through the prototype test program, testing data to pick table means that the technical parameters has achieved a national standard ,but the technical parameters of Qing-ling machine falls far short of standardsrate. As the factors of design and combination of pre-test, In this paper, two improvements: (1) using of hydrostatic transmission in place of the original mechanical transmission; (2) Qing-ling machine is designed to that the system parameters of cleaning up is adjustable to obtain the best technical parameters to in the experiment.
