Through diagnosis of the state of Wenzhou city river, combined with characteristics of vertical stiffness riverbank, Hedera nepanensis var. Chinensis, Celastrus orbiculatus, Rosahybrida ClimbingRoses, Euonymus fortune, Bauhinia championi, Mucuna sempervirens, Ficus pumila and Trachelospermum jasminoides, these eight kinds of plant materials were selected. Through heat resisting property, cold resistance and water wet test of their physiological and biochemical indicators, plant landscape restoration was carried on a selected typical vertical stiffness riverbank section of WEN Ruitang River, and the mode of vertical stiffness riverbank plantscape restoration was builded. Research results are as follows:1.Combined with characteristics of vertical stiffness riverbank in Wenzhou city, Five modes of vertical stiffness riverbank plantscape restoration was builded, which are vine with a combination of aquatic plants, vine, vine with a combination of small shrubs, hanging-style vine with a combination of aquatic plants and the double vertical embankment planting.2. Inverse-resistance research was carried on the seleceted eight kinds of plant materials, The results showed that:(1) Heat resisting property: In high temperature situation,these eight kinds of plants on leaf relative water content, leaf water saturation deficit, cell membrane permeability, chlorophyll and MDA,these five physiological and biochemical indicators were tested. The result showed that the eight kinds of plants had remarkable differences with each other,and the order of Heat-resistant strength is Ficus pumila > Mucuna sempervirens > Rosahybrida Climbing Roses > Euonymus fortune > Bauhinia championi > Trachelospermum jasminoides > Celastrus orbiculatus > Hedera nepanensis var. chinensis.(2) Cold resistance: Under low temperature condition, the cell membrane permeability of the eight kinds of plants were increased with the decrease of the temperature. SOD was increased,then droped. the order of cold resistance of the eight kinds of plants is: Euonymus fortune > Bauhinia championi > Hedera nepanensis var. chinensis > Celastrus orbiculatus > Mucuna sempervirens > Ficus pumila > Rosahybrida Climbing Roses > Trachelospermum jasminoides.(3) water wet: Eight kinds of plant material were carried out 50 days to deal with the flooding, according to the changes in their morphological features and dynamic changes of waterlogging index analysis, the order of water wet is: Rosahybrida ClimbingRoses and Ficus pumila are more water wet plants, the Hedera nepanensis var. chinensis and Bauhinia championi and Trachelospermum jasminoides are followed, Celastrus orbiculatus is the weakest.3.Building test was carried on the four selected modes of vertical stiffness riverbank plant landscape restoration, through one year observation of growth conditions of the eight kinds of application of the eight kinds of land plants, six kinds of aquatic plants, the result show that Wall-mounted model is the best , floating-bed mode is followed, and then is planting strip mode, aquatic plant cultivation mode is the weakest.
