In this paper, we apply biological technology and ecological control measures, including planting floating and underwater grass, lotus root, putting field snail, mussel and stocking shrimp, crab and fish, to make a good living condition for largemouth bass perch(Micropterus salmoides)with the help of water quality monitoring and manual control measurements which can create a reasonable food cycle chain among different species in the same polyculture systems. For the purpose of prompting the benefits from largemouth bass perch polyculture,we have carried out the following eco-farming culture researches within three types of ecological models. The results indicate that the suitable amount of seed stocking and ecological control measures are as follows:(1)In"Ecological model 1:largemouth bass perch polycultured with crab in pond", stocking largemouth bass fry are suitable for large-sized or one year age around 1000 tail per 667m2, the juvenile crabs(Eriocheir sinensis) of one year age are 500 tail per 667m-2, green prown (Macrobrachium nipponense)are 1-1.5×104 tail per 667m2; field snail(Cipangopaludina chinensis) is suitable for delivery of 200-300kg?667m-2; Vallisneria species should be sowed in spring, the volume of which is 80g?667m-2, while other grass species, such as Hydrilla verticillata, Najas minor Allioni and Elodea canadensis etc., should be selected in summer and autumn instead, the volume of which is 10kg?667m-2, ensuring that their leaves cover more than 30% of the total area over the pond.(2) In"Ecological model 2:largemouth bass polycultured with green prown and mussel in pond", stocking largemouth bass are suitable for large-sized or one year age fry around 1000-1200 tail per 667m2, green prown are 1-1.5×104 tail per 667m2; triangle mussel(Hyriopsis cumingii)are 100-200 tail per 667m2. We may plant water chestnut and lotus at water temperature around 15℃in spring, the average amount of water chestnut is 400kg?667m-2, which can cover 300 holes per 667m2, the volume of the mother species of lotus is 250kg per 667m2, ensuring that their leaves can cover less than 60% of the total area over the pond.(3) In"Ecological model 3:largemouth bass breeding in cage polycultured with crab, green prown and other fish species in the fence",the suitable amount for large-sized or one year age largemouth bass perch should be stocked 30-35 tail per squaremetre in cage. Outside the cage within the fence, the juvenile crab for one year age should be stocked 400 tail per 667m2; green prown are 0.5-1.0×104 tail per 667m2 in spring, while 1.5-2.0×104 tail per 667m2 at fall; silver carp are 100 tail per 667m2; bighead carp are 30 tail per 667m2; the field snail are 200-300kg·667m-2. We shoud plant or transplant some suitable underwater grass in different periods. In spring, we can plant Vallisneria within the amount of 80-100g·667m-2; in summer and autumn, we should choose other species instead, such as Hydrilla verticillata, Najas minor Allioni, Elodea nuttallii, with grass capacity of 10kg?667m-2, ensuring that the grass leaves cover less than 40% of the total surface area of the fence. To facilitate water purification and wave calming, we also should transplanted water peanut(Alternanthera philoxeroides) with 50kg?667m-2 around the inner side of the fence edge.Among all of these studies, we apply the eco-control measures by which we can regulate the key environmental factors to improve the farming condition, avoiding pollution arising from their own culture through full utilization of food resources, and provide a sustainable and healthy way of development for largemouth bass breeding industry through efficient diet intaking and conversion.
