Flowering shrubs is an indispensable plant in landscape garden, with high ornamental value.So rational development and utilization of wild flowering shrubs resourcesis of great significance which basis on the protection.Through the investigation of the wild flowering shrubs resources in the Hunshandake Sand.37species were found and they belonged to 10 families and 20 genera. The uses of these plant resources in gardens are classified as 4 groups by their ornamental characteristics,which were ornamental flower shrubs,ornamental flower&fruit shrubs, ornamental fruit shrubs, ornamental foliag shrubs. By the score of ornamental, utilization, Ecological habits,volume, resistance,the preferential exploitation ranking of the 37 species of the wild Plants was done. Made a detailed investigation of habitat and propagation for the first preferential exploitation ranking of flowering shrubs, describe the Ornamental Characteristics of the flowering shrubs.Anatomical structures of the leaves of these flowering shrubs were observed by using 9 drought resistant indexes, and fix the order of drought resistance was Cotoneaster mongolicus > Prunus padus > Lonicera microphylla > Crataegus maximowiczii > Ribes diacanthum > Malus baccata > Viburnum mongolicum > Caragana microphylla > Rosa davurica. By the Experiment of twig cuttage propagation of some flowering shrubs, found out its propagation characteristics and type of rootage. For future reference.
