This paper has choose unique evergreen shrub in Inner Mongolia hungriness area Ammopiptanthus mongolicus as experimental materials, the controlled experiment was conducted to test the seed germination and seedling emergence responses of Ammopiptanthus mongolicu to moisture and sand-burying, along with bio-climate response of reproduction, the results of this research are as follows:1. Compared with seedlings emerged from the smaller one,seedlings emerged from seeds with size more than 5 mm tend to be stronger and growing more vigorous than the smaller one duringthe early stages of growth. This trend is further evidenced by the weak and high susceptibilities to pathogen and continuous death of seedlings fromthe smaller seeds with in the 70 days growth. Seedlings from larger seeds took only about 60 days to attain a constant survival rate of more than 56.3%, while seedlings from the smaller ones took more than 70 days to attain 35.4% and still on a decreasing trend.2. According to the data, the height and width of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus were classified, study population structures of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus. The results indicated that the age structures of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus showed that the decline trend.3. Study direction and distance of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus seed dispersal. The results showed that the majority of the seeds distributed close to the maternal trees, only a little part of seeds had long-distance dispersal.4. The soil water content to trigger germination was 2.5% for Ammopiptanthus mongolicus. The optimal burial depth is observed 2cm.5. . The Root growth swift of Ammopiptanthus mongolicu, get to stable humid sand bed in the 15 day growth.6. Study bio-climate response of reproduction, indicates the optimal time for germination and growth of Ammopiptanthus mongolicus at sixth month.This reproduction strategy afford guarantee for population self-organization regeneration of Ammopiptanthus mongolicum.Probe into reproductive behavior and population self-organization regeneration of Ammopiptanthus mongolicum will bring forth profound influence on the reproduction ecology, conservation biology, restoration ecology. The result of this research has important reference value to study on adaptation and development on old Mediterranean relict and providing fundamental basis for protect rare endangered plant. It provided the theoretic basis to the local seeds in resuming and rebuilding.
