This paper adopted less scale which connected with single tree space and studied on soil physical properties variety on microsite and the relation between microsite and tree growth.Choose Red Pine,Larix grnelinii Rupr.,Ying Chun 1 Hao,Fraxinus mandshurica,Picea koraiensis Nak.,Korean pine in Laoyeling area of Maoershan Experimental Farm. The results showed that:Because of tiny change of landform, there were some differences of soil physical properties on landform.Detailed changes as follows:concave terrain soil moisture is the highest, the second is common place and soil around the stumps which difference was not significantly, the lowest was at convex terrain. The difference between the highest and the lowest was 43.12%.The maximum porosity was around the stumps and the minimum porosity was on concave terrain and convex terrain,The difference between the maximum and the minimum was 51.85%.The maximum bulk density was on common place sunny slope and convex terrain, the minimum bulk density was on common place shady slope and soil around stumps. The difference bulk density between concave terrain and common place was not significantly. The difference between the maximum and the minimum was 59.09%.Impact of the stumps which effected on the young growth was very significantly. It was Harmful to the growth of trees,Such as Korean pine,Larix gmelinii Rupr.and Fraxinus mandshurica.Impact of the stumps on the growth of poplar was not obvious.Impact of Convex terrain on the of tree growth manifested as:convex terrain was not conducive to poplar and Picea koraiensis Nak..It was not conducive to the Larix grnelinii Rupr.Fraxinus mandshurica,Korean pine on the central and upper slope, but It was conducive on lower slope. It was beneficial on Red Pine.Impact of concave terrain on the of tree growth manifested as:concave terrain was not conducive to poplar and Picea koraiensis Nak..It was conducive to Larix gmelinii Rupr.,Fraxinus mandshurica,Korean pine on the central and upper slope, but It was not conducive on lower slope. It was not beneficial on Red Pine.In addition, difference was small because of concave terrain which was on the middle and lower slope when the slope was small. When studied the microsite, consideration should be given to the external site conditions on the site-the impact of external conditions changed the results of the study would be changed, sometimes the opposite result.Microsite for further research to achieve an appropriate tree is of great significance.
