Base on the routine monitor data of water quality environmental elements Pb,Cu of Songhua River Harbin section in 1991 to 2000 from Environment Monitoring Center of Harbin: first analysis of temporal and spatial variation of Pb,Cu by matlab software;process of original data by linear interpolation method and analysis of temporal and spatial variation of the whole waters area in Songhua River Harbin section after interpolation.Adopt the time delay network which based on artificial neural network to predict the trend of above water quality environmental elements variation.The results indicate that:(1) in the spatial distribution, concentrations of Pb,Cu in the upstream and downstream regions are higher than the mid-stream cross-section.(2) in the time scale,after 1996 the reduction of the concentration of lead is significant,the variation of the concentration of copper is not significant.(3) from the aspect of period,subject to certain physical,chemical,man-made factors,the minimum concentration of lead usually appears in the dry season;the maximum concentration of lead appears in the mean flow season frequently.The character is obviously.The minimum concentration of total copper in water body usually appears in the dry season;the maximum concentration of total copper often appears in the mean flow season,the character is significant.(4)in the next two decades,the fluctuation of water quality environmental elements Pb,Cu of Songhua River Harbin section will be change largely.
