Loss of nitrogen from agricultural systems is an economic detriment for producers. To the environment, nitrate in the groundwater is a healthy hazard. According to the climate, hydrology, planting pattern of upstream area of HuangPu River, the study focused on the rule on nitrogen loss in water bamboo fields of QingPu by leaching-pond orientation experiment. The effect of reducing fertilization technology on soil properties and the quality of water bamboo was also been researched. The results were as follows:The results suggested that NH4+-N was the main nitrogen form in the surface-water, and the proportion of NH4+-N in TN reached more than 90% after 1 to 3 days of fertilization. It was shown that increasing the usage of organic fertilizers and decreasing 20% inorgnic fertilizers could reduce 20.74% TN in the surface-water. NO3--N was the main form of nitrogen loss in the leaking-water, which increased first and then decreased after fertilization. The concentration of TN was the highest under inorgnic fertilizer treatment, increasing the usage of organic fertilizers and decreasing 20% inorgnic fertilizers could reduce 15.12% TN and 16.10% NO3--N in the leaking-water, and nitrogen loss quantity could be reduced 16.98%. The main form of runoff loss were NH4+-N and NO3--N, the proportion of NH4+-N was more than NO3--N at the early period. Using organic fertilizers to replace 20% inorgnic fertilizers could reduce 32.26% nitrogen loss quantity in runoff water. The study on the soil was showed that using organic fertilizers could improve water conservation and prevent soil acidification. The content of organic and NPK could also been increased by using. According to the research of soil properties, we found that the upper layer is worse than the lower. It suggested that more organic fertilizers should be used more deeper. The results suggested that using organic fertilizers to replace inorgnic fertilizers could increase the yield and quality of water bamboo. Increasing the usage of organic fertilizers and decreasing 20% inorgnic fertilizers could make the yield increase 5.15%, stem length and weight increase 16.32% and 29.06%. Moreover, the content of crude protein, total sugar, dietary fibre and vitamin c could be increased 3.11%, 14.33%, 7.91% and 33.76% by using organic fertilizers. The use of organic fertilizers is really an effective measure to prevent the quantity of nitrogen loss and improve the quality of soil and water bamboo, so it should be applied comprehensively.
