The thesis focuses on the the canopy and leaf spectral characteristic of dominant species and indicator species for degradation Hulunber grassland which plays an important role in the development of animal husbandry in Hulunbeier. We used the ASD portable spectrometer, using various statistical methods, data- processing methods and a variety of remote sensing characteristic parameters, to study the canopy and leaf spectral characteristic of Hulunbeier grassland vegetation. What's more we simulated the spectra of community composed of different proportions. The main research content and results are as follows :(1) Draft the grassland species Hulunbeier spectra norms.Field spectra were affected by multiple factors. Such as collection time, collection location, vegetation cover, plant growth conditions.Even the affects were in similar conditions, there were still relatively large fluctuations in spectra reflectance. Which would be related to canopy structure and soil background influences. Therefore, we have developed measured processes of spectra and attention to measurement issues, in order to reduce the differences caused by using different measurement methods. And then we established the spectral library of vegetation in Hulunber.(2)Made an spectral analysis for main dominant species and the degradation of indicator species in Hulunber.By using of various methods of mathematical statistics and various remote sensing characteristics of feature parameters and comparing leaf spectra of different spieces, we got significant differences bands between different species. Through analysis of original band by continuum removal, we found the spectra of Leymus chinensis and Allium polyrhizum Turcz,Ex Regel contrast distinctly at about 550nm. And the band can be used for distinguishing the two species. By U test for Leymus chinensis,Stipa spp,Artemisia frigida Willd.and Allium polyrhizum Turcz,Ex Regel, we got the significant differences bands of four species (361nm,364nm.376nm,527nm and 528nm).Through analysis of original bands by stepwise discriminant method, we got the significant differences bands to distinguish the four species under the conditions of the laboratory. The bands are 508nm,561nm,599nm,628nm and 876nm. We obtained the classification of different species using them. The result was quite distinct and the precision up to 100%.(3) Analysis the canopy spectral characteristic of dominant species and indicator species for degradation Hulunber grassland.Through analysis and comparison the spectra of communities, we got the relationship between different coverage of Allium polyrhizum Turcz,Ex Regel community and spectra of canopy. Using stepwise discriminant analysis, we obtained three characteristic bands (655nm,689nm,1144nm) of Leymus chinensis and Artemisia frigida Willd community, and the establishment of a typical discriminant equation. We simulated the community spectra for Leymus chinensis and Artemisia frigida Willd in different mixing ratio by linear model. Combining with the spectra of Leymus chinensis and Artemisia frigida Willd community, we got when Artemisia frigida Willd cover reached more than 20% in Leymus chinensis community, the species can be identified with hyperspectral. The Community spectral characteristics no longer reflect the spectral characteristics of Leymus chinensis community.(4) Established the spectra database of the main vegetation and community type in Hulunber grassland.Though established the spectra database of the main vegetation and community type in Hulunber grassland, it's better for us to understand the vegetation spectral characteristics and spectral changes under different spatial conditions. Provide a basis for target recognition. remote sensing image interpretation and information retrieval.
