Since the relay cultivation of Phalaenopsis has been more and more applied to manufacture , many producers sum up many valuable experiments though practice and research. But there is still so little systematical research of relay cultivation. So the relay cultivation of Phalaenopsis is lacked of scientific evidence and theoretical foundation. For this reason,the main aim of our project is to research the influence of relay cultivation on the Phalaenopsis' growing development and the relativity of root,stem,leaves and the characteristic of the flowers. The result indicates that:â‘ The quality of the vegetative growth and blooming of Phalaenopsis is obviously better in Sanya than in Beijing areas. And at the same time, the selfcost on producing Phalaenopsis in Sanya is also much lower than in Beijing. As the price rising of coal, the selfcost on producing Phalaenopsis plants in Beijing will be more and more higher. In addition,the weather condition of Sanya is especially adapted for the phalaenopsis. The selfcost can be greatly reduced because not only natural ventilation can drop in temperature in summer but also there's no need of warming up when winter comes. Therefore,the way of relay cultivation between Sanya and Beijing is feasible.â‘¡From the two sets of Phalaenopsis which are flower forced in Beijing,the one arrived in Beijing in September has better flower quality than in October; and moreover,the former can meet the great needs of flowers when Spring festivel comes because of its earlier florescence. So September is the pretty suitable time for relay cultivation.â‘¢The quality of Phalaenopsis growth and blooming can be obviously improved if the time spend in the local field can be shortened. The less time growing in the local place, the better the Phalaenopsis plants will grow, and will have better flowers. Because of the shorter time, it can also reduct the risk of wasting plants. It's signality to rise up the rate of finished products in the northern areas where the selfcost is so expensive.â‘£There is notable corelation between the stem, leaves and the characteristic of the flowers of phalaenopsis. The amount of buds is related to the thickness of the stem ,the area of the leaves and the weight of the fresh and dry leaves. The diameter of the flower is related to the thickness of the stem and the weight of the fresh and dry leaves. The characteristic of the flowers is somehow influenced by the root system. The positive corelation between the quantity of the buds,the thickness of the flowers and the root's fresh and dry weight tells us the huge root system is the assurance of efflorescence.
