In this paper,a field trial,15 tree species of 1-year-old seedlings in 3 different soil water stresses were conducted to investigate their growth, physiological and biochemical response:The results were shown as follows:1.Waterlogging stress had an apparent impact on soluble protein and proline content of the species. The soluble protein and praline influenced by waterlogging stress had an apparent increase, but with increase the extent of stress and the extended time showed, different trends, the strong flooding of trees increased;the medium flooding of trees showed a strong rise at the beginning, then a downward trend;the weak of flood trees declined apparently at the early period.2.Enzyme system had played a great role in the protection of the resistance. In the early period of waterlogging stress, the strong flooding trees, such as SOD,AsA, AsA-POD,GSH,showed an apparent increase, the stronger stress, the greater in increase. The weak flooding trees showed the first decline; The medium flooding Of trees showed a strong rise initially, thena downward trend;3.13 indicators were seperated into 4 independent indicators by principal component analysis(PCA),combined with the subordination function val??ethod to calculate the comprehensive evaluation of flood(D value) which was seen as the comprehensive evaluation standard to the flooding trees. At last,15 flooding species were ranked by the observation of observed appearance patterns and survival rate, the order followed:Salix babvlonica>Metasequoia glyptostroboides>Fraxinus chinensis> Taxodium distichum>Pterocarya stenoptera>Glyptostrobus pensilis> Liquidambar formosana>Bischofia polycarpa>Populus Xeuranericana cL'74/76'> Sapium sebiferum>Caraya illinoensis>Camptotheca acumina>Nyssa sinensis> Ginkgo biloba>Pistacia chinensis.4.By PCA and the cluster analysis,15 flooding species were divided into 3 rating:non-prevented waterlogging trees:Camptotheca acumina,Nyssa sinensis, Ginkgo biloba,Pistacia chinensis;more prevented waterlogging trees:Populus Xeuranericana cL'74/76',Sapium sebiferum,Caraya illinoensis;prevented waterlogging trees:Salix babvlonica,Metasequoia glyptostroboides,Fraxinus chinensis,Taxodium distichum,Pterocarya stenoptera,Glyptostrobus pensilis, Liquidambar formosana,Bischofia polycarpa.5.Waterlogging stress, root dry weight, height, ascorbic acid,SOD activity, reduced glutathione content, diameter and ascorbate peroxidase activity and other indicators of changes in rate and the flood of bigger degree of relation, and proline content, soluble protein content, stem weight, leaf area and leaf dry weight and other indicators of the rate of change associated with the flood of smaller degrees.
