During 2007-2008, Field experiment were conducted in Xiangshan village,Gongzhulin city, Jinlin province to examine how AFHSANW affect the production of maize by fertilizers, cultivars and densities, we had 5 main conclusions as bellow:1. The survey shows that no-tillage, straw, straw mulching, crop rotation and other conservation tillage methods have good ecological benefit. But due to lack of appropriate machinery, stunting crop growth and other reasons, these conservation tillage methods can not be accepted by the farmers. The new technology (AFHSANW) can improve the soil property, enhance the rainfall use efficiency and raise labor productivity. So, this new technology has a good future.2. By the comparison experiment of alternative fallow high stubble about narrow/wide tillage and conventional tillage, we found that the soil compaction of wide/narrow row with loosening in soil layer of 0~10cm,10~20cm,20~30cm,30~40cm,40~50cm was lower than traditional tillage by 2.01%,9.31%,5.78%,5.48%,3.81% respectively. The photosynthesis, leaf area and dry matter in mature period of wide/narrow row with loosening treatments were also lower than conventional tillage. When it comes to root, wide/narrow row with loosening treatments improved the distribution of root system and promoted the deep growth of root, but the total root weight was lower than conventional tillage which caused low production in grain yield. In milking and maturity, the total dry root weight was higher than wide/narrow row treatment by 13.47% and 29.62% respectively. The two years mean yield production of wide/narrow row treatment was lower than conventional tillage by 14.05%.3. By the comparison experiment of applied the wide/narrow treatments and conventional tillage in different cultivar and density, the production of wide/narrow row XianYu 335 was the highest and Zheng Dan958 was the second highest in this experiment, 12562kg/hm~2 and 11751kg/hm~2 respectively. By the different density experiment, we found that the appropriate density was 60000 shoot per ha whether under wide/narrow row with loosening treatments or conventional tillage.4. By changing loosening and fertilization, we found that wide/narrow row with looseningand panicle fertilizer K4,conventional tillage with jointing fertilizer J3,conventionaltillage onetime application J2 have a good yield production because of the mutualeffective of tillage methods and fertilizers. The yield production of K4 was higher thanK2,J4,J1 and K1 by 12.85%,11.17%,17.70%,21.01%,respectively, J3 was higher than K2,J4, J1 and K1 by 9.61%,11.17%,19.30%,23.35%,and J2 was higher than K2,J4,J1 and K1by 12.85%,14.45%, 22.83%,27.00%, respectively. The lowest yield production was 8987.46kg/hm~2 and9292.75kg/hm~2 in the treatment of K1 and J1. This is mainly because fertilized in different timeshave extended the period of large leaf area and enhanced the dry matter accumulation.when it comes to pn, k4 and j5 are higher than others.generally, Gs, Ci and Tr expressed atrend of conventional tillage higher than the conservation tillage.the lossening have alittle effect on yield, but it have a large effect on maize LAI lasting and dry matteraccumulation, since lossening can reduce soil bulk density.
