In order to search the best curing ways and technologys, This trial studied apparent quality, economic benefit, and internal quality of flue-cured tobacoo which was curried by different ways and technologys, using dry and wet bulb temperature auto-controlled electrothermal bulk curing boxes. Results of this trail are as follows.1 Effect on the quality of chopping stalk flue-cured tobacco by different loading densityCompared to the normal curing way, the apparent quality and economic benefit of three treatments of chopping stalk curing all improved significantly; the loading density was increased, also the energy and time consumption were reduced; Physical Properties improved to some extent; chemical constituents are more coordinative; the tensile force and filling value were increased a little; the total sugar, the reducing sugar and the nicotine decreased obviously; the total nigrogen and nigrogen/nicotine slightly increased. With the increasing of the loading density of chonpping stalk leaf, the weight per leaf, the fresh/dry ratio and the equilibrium moisture content decreaced, but the ratio of ill-cured tobacco increased. Physical properties and chemical constituents were more suitable and coordinative when the loading density was 1.5 times of CK.Total aroma and flavor constituents changed as follow: treatment C (the loading density was 2 times of CK)ï¹¥treatment B (the loading density was 1.5 times of CK)ï¹¥CK(normal curing way)ï¹¥treatment A (the loading density is 1 times of CK); There was little different between treatment B(the loading density was 1.5 times of CK) and CK.All the analysis showed that the loading density of chopping stalk curing should be 1.5 times of CK.2 Dynamic changes of main physiological indexes of the chopping stalk leaf during flue-curing.During flue-curing, the water loss rate of the chopping stalk leaf was significantly more fast than the normal leaf: the water contents of chopping stalk leaf dropped quickly after 30 h and became stabale after 40h, which was 9%, but the water contents the of normal leaf changed a little during the same time; the content of chlorophyll and carotenoid in all the chopping stalk leaf and the normal leaf dropped gradually, but the former was a little higher than the later all the time; the change the activity of SOD, POD and CAT was relatively complex; the increacing rate of the cell membrane permeability and the accumulating rate of malonaldehyde in the chopping stalk leaf were more fast than in the normal leaf from the beginning to 30 h; the activity of LOX of these two treatments rose slowly before 30h, but the activity of LOX of the chopping stalk leaf peaked by 36h , and then decreased slowly, while the activity of LOX of the normal leaf began to rose significantly.3 Effect on the chemical constituents of the tobacco stalk by different curing waysThe influence of flue-curing, sunning and airing of three curing ways on the chemical constituents of the tobacco stalk was studied. The result showed that, compared to flue-curing way, the total sugar, the reducing sugar, the total nitrogen, the nicotine etc of the tobacco through sunning or airing all decreased to some extent, of which the airing chopping stalk tobacco have a nignificant decreasing; the starch content of these two treatments were slightly higer than CK, while the diference of the total nitrogen and the nicotine content was not so obvious.4 Effect on the internal quality of chopping stalk flue-cured tobacco by different dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatureThere were significant effect on the quality of the chopping stalk flue-cured tobacco by different dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature. Physical Properties of T5 and T4 (the treatment of leaf yellowing with lower dry-bulb temperature and higher wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with middle wet-bulb temperature and the treatment of leaf yellowing with lower dry-bulb temperature and higher wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with higher wet-bulb temperature) were the best, secondly, T7(The treatment of leaf yellowing with lower dry-bulb temperature and lower wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with middle wet-bulb temperature), then T6 and T2(the treatment of leaf yellowing with lower dry-bulb temperature and higher wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with lower wet-bulb temperature and the treatment of leaf yellowing with lower dry-bulb temperature and lower wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with lower wet-bulb temperature). Physical Properties were as following: the equilibrium moisture content of T4, T5 and T6 were all more than 16%, wheras, equilibrium moisture content of T1, T2 and T3(he treatment of leaf yellowing with higher dry-bulb temperature and higher wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with middle wet-bulb temperature, the treatment of leaf yellowing with higher dry-bulb temperature and lower wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with lower wet-bulb temperature and the treatment of leaf yellowing with higher dry-bulb temperature and lower wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with middle wet-bulb temperature) were all less than 15%; the leaf specific weight were all between 74-80g/m2,of which T1 and T5 were comparatively heavier and T7 was the lightest; the leaf thickness of T6 was lower, which was 0.099 mm, and the leaf thickness of all the other treatments were between 0.1-0.2 mm; the tension of T6 was the highest, which was 2.10 N, and T3 was the lowest, which was only 1.16 N; there were a little difference among all treatments, which were all about 3.0 cm3/g.5 Correlation analysis of Physical Properties and chemical constituents of all the treatment by different dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatureSimple Correlation analysis showed that : the equilibrium moisture content had highly significant positive correlation with the tension ,the total sugar and the nicotineby by different dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature, but highly significant negative correlation.; the nicotine also had significant or highly significant positive correlation with the tension and the total sugar, but highly significant negative correlation.6 Comprehensive evaluation and analysis of the quality of the chopping stalk flue-cured tobacco by different dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperature with principal Component AnalysisThis paper gave an analysis of chemical constituents, Physical Properties and economic benefit of 16 factors which had a greater impact on tobacco quality, and gave a comprehensive evaluation of all treatments, combined with the apparent quality. The result showed that, the quality of chopping stalk flue-cured tobacco was the best by the curing way of leaf yellowing with lower dry-bulb temperature and higher wet-bulb temperature, leaf drying with middle wet-bulb temperature.
