Scenic forest tending is a brand-new research field in china, and the theory and technique system has not been established yet. this study investigated of Platycladus orientalis in Yunlong mountain in Xuzhou. It made the typical broad-leaved mixed forest of deciduous in Huangcangyu nature reserve as the reference object. Find out the present status and problems of Platycladus orientalis by comparative analysis of stand structure and landscape quality in above two places. puts forward that Platycladus orientalis was reformed to ecological landscape forest of high scenic value and the structure of wood was stability by tending and replanting. Based on the investigation of biomass, productivity, growth regularity, fine root distribution, site condition of Platyclatdus orientalis. The research result showed: Platyclatdus orientalis in Yunlong mountain was dull aspect, tree species were seriously single, and the structure of stand is not reasonably enough due to density was very high; tree differentiation significantly due to keen competition, the proportion of the normal and inferior tree in vision was very high; there were lower diversity of species in the community, and stand structure was unstable. Platyclatdus orientalis has a shallow root system lead to accumulation of dry matter was slowly, poor growth and wither of trees. the thinning and replanting based on structure unit can improve forest landscape and structure effectively. after thinning and replanting, the structure parameter of Platycladus orientali in sample-plot had these changes: the SBE changed from -70.4 before thinning to -20.62 after thinning to 24.4 after replanting; The average uniform angle index changed from 0.483 before thinning to 0.379 after thinning to 0.355 after replanting, and forest tree became well distributed; The average neighborhood comparison changed from 0.463 before thinning to 0.434 after replanting, and the predominance of unit's aim tree was enhanced; The average mingling changed from 0.0 before and after thinning to 0.418 after replanting, the mix degree was enhanced, and the adjustment of stand structure has produced a marked effect.
