In this study, the physical , chemical properties and biological quality of the different treatments of the coastal saline soils applied with jute straw and organic fertilizers were analyzed to elucidate the effects of the application of jute straw and organic fertilizers on the coastal saline soil. It comprehensively analysis the soil fertility of the coastal saline soils applied with jute straw and organic fertilizers by Comprehensive evaluation of soil fertility. The main contents and conclusions as follows:1. The physical properties had been improved with the application of jute straw and organic fertilizers on the coastal saline soil. The results showed that with the application of jute straw and organic fertilizers can decrease the soil bulk density obviously, increase the total porosity , capillary porosity, and the maximum field capacity of soil .2. The application of jute straw and organic fertilizers on the coastal saline soil can reduce pH and salt content, increase organic matter and nutrients content, while it had little effect on cation exchange capacity. So the chemical properties of the coastal saline soil had been significantly effected by the application of jute straw and organic fertilizers. The physical properties at 0-20cm were higher than those of other deep layers, especially for salt content and organic matter in the 8,9,10 treatments. The reduce of salt content were 45.0%,53.5% and 48.4% less than that of CK after 9 months . And the increase of the organic matter were 62.9%,60.9% and 46.4% more than that of CK after 15 months.3. The application of jute straw and organic fertilizers on the coastal saline soil can increase the soil microbe community amount and soil enzyme activities. Especially 10 treatment, the increase of Proteinase, phosphatase , Urease and saccharase are 2.11,1.61,0.84 and 4.84 times more than that of CK. The increase of Bacteria, fungus and actinomyces are 1.80,1.04 and 58.3 times more that of CK.4. It was evaluated by soil exponent evaluation and showed that :10 treatment>9 treatment>8 treatment>4 treatment>7 treatment>5 treatment>3 treatment>6 treatment>1 treatment>2 treatment. It was preliminarily concluded that the soil physical and chemical properties were the most effectively improved when the jute straw was applied at the level of 3600 kg/hm2 and organic fertilizers,were applied at the level of 1200 kg/hm2-3600 kg/hm2.
