Rootzone composition was the majority zone with four levels: A1 ((soil-based rootzone ), A2(pure sand rootzone), A3(partically amendes sand rootzone ),A4(fully amended sand rootzone ); and fertilizers types was the assistant zone with two levels: B1(internal fertilizer),B2(importing fertilizer); moreover fertilizer rate was chose as the assistant-assistant zone with two levels:C1(conventional fertilization), C2(calculated fertilization). the effect of different rootzones, fertilizer types and the methods on the soil physical and chemical characters of rootzones and the quality of turf was assessed by field experiment. The results indicated that:1.The discrepancy of different rootzones was big in the physical and chemical characters. The infiltration rate for different kinds of rootzone were A2>A3>A4>A1, which were all upon the lowest acceptable limit of USGA. There was a slightly decreasing trend in a whole. The bulk density of the four rootzones with the depth 0-50mm decreased as time increasing, while the one with the depth of 50-100mm and over 100mm increased. The data showed that the total porosity was basically involved in the acceptable limits (35%-55%). The total porosity for different rootzones with different depths were all increasing except the A1 with depth 0-50mm. the air-filled porosity decreased rapidly, and the water-filled porosity increased gradually. The distributing of the two kinds of porosity tended to be big. There was steady rise in the organic matter contents for each rootzone with different depths, especially the one with depth 0-50mm. The organic matter contents from best to worst of every different depths was: A1>A4>A3≥A2.2.The sequence of different rootzones about color was A1>A4>A3>A2;Texture was A4>A2>A3>A1; Uniformity was A4>A2>A3>A1; Coverage was A1>A4>A3>A2; Green period was A1>A4>A3>A2; Underground biomass was A2>A3>A4>A1; The results of turf comprehensive quality evaluation showed that A4 was the best one;the sequence was A4>A3>A2>A1. 3.The treatment B2 using importing fertilizer was better in texture and uniformity coverage underground biomass than B1 using internal fertilizers, while B1 was better in color than B2; there was no difference in green period between the two treatments. The result of turf quality comprehensive evaluation was B2>B1.4.The indexes of turf comprehensive quality for C2 (calculated fertilization) were better than C1 (conventional fertilization).5.The results of turf comprehensive quality evaluation showed that the best treatment was A4B2C2 and the worst one was A1B1C1. The sequence of all the treatments from best to worst was :A4B2C2>A3B2C2>A2B2C2>A1B2C2>A4B1C2>A1B1C2>A2B1C2>A3B1C2>A3B2C1 >A4B2C1>A4B1C1>A1B2C1>A2B2C1>A3B1C1> A2B1C1> A1B1C1。... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | rootzone, type of fertilizer, method of fertilizer, Green, physical and chemical characters of rootzone, turf quality | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
