This paper, with Cinnamomum mphora as its research object,has explored the reaction characteristics of Cinnamomum mphora by studying its changes in physiological and biochemical characteristics in the low-temperature and the salt stress. The main results are as follows.1. At chill stress,with the decrease in the temperature, the activities of SOD, POD and CAT in membrane sprayed by water, CaCl2 and sugar tend to increase and then fall; the CaCl2 sprays and sugar sprays were higher than CK. the amount of MDA has increased steadily in CK and CaCl2 sprays whereas it has decreased first and then increased in sugar sprays; elative Conductance increased, and below -6℃increased faster. the chlorophyll content decreased gradually; both the contents of SS and SP increased and then decreased. The results show that the extrajudicial CaCl2 and sucrose can increase cold tolerance of Cinnamomum mphora.2. with the increase in the Nacl stress density and the extension of time, Cinnamomum mphora's membrane permeability increased slowly and MDA content increased gradually; the activities of three kinds of protective enaymes increased first and then decreased along with the extension of time, the peak concentrations occurred at different times and showed a positive correlation or remarkably positive correlation,which showed that under salt stress the activity of the inner protective enayme of Cinnamomum mphora had a "collaborative" nature; Soluble Protein participated in Osmoregulation, and the content increased and then decreased and then continued to decrease with the increase in the density of stress; with the extension of the stress time the changes remained relatively stable. The content of Chlorophyll decreased gradually with the extension of the stress time and the increase in the density and the descending range is smaller; the phytochrom is not sensitive to the salt stress, which indicated that Cinnamomum mphora has higher Salt resistance.3. The results of two kinds of stress experiments indicated that Cinnamomum mphora has stronger self-protection system ,and it can resist the minor damage of bad surroundings and have a certain resistance ability under the adverse circumstances.
