Influence Of Sowing Date On Main Traits Between The Panicle Number-type Wheat Varieties Chuannong 16 And A Oligoculm Wheat Line H461

To investigate the effect of sowing date on wheat agronomic traits and grain qualities, the main traits of panicle number-type wheat varieties Chuannong 16 and a oligoculm wheat line H461 were studied from 2007-2008 on 7 sowing dates. The main results were showded as following:1. The tiller number of Chuannong 16 and H461 was surved under 7 sowing dates. The results showed that difference of the tiller number was significant on different sowing date, and the tiller number were decreased along with the delay of sowing date. Chuannong 16 had significant difference of tiller number in most sowing date. While the difference of H461 only significantly in date VII. The tiller number of Chuannong 16 in date I put 64% ahead of date VII, and H461 in date I put 48% ahead of date VII. Although the tiller trait of Chuannong 16 was effected significantly by sowing date, the tiller number of Chuannong 16 was more than H461 in the same sowing date.2. The tiller number changes of Chuannong 16 and H461 were surved on different sowing date. The results were showed that Chuannong 16 and H461 began tillering on December and stopped on early April. The tillering peak of Chuannong 16 and H461 was delayed along with the sowing date. The tillering stage of Chuannong 16 was long, especially for the per-tillering and active tillering stage. However, the per-tillering and active tillering stage of H461 was shorter. The tiller number change of Chuannong 16 showed nearly S-shape curve, while the H461 was inconspicuousness. The tillering changes of Chuannong 16 and H461 were divided into two stage. These stage were considerde to be critical period.3. The agronomic traits of Chuannong 16 and H461 were analysised on different sowing date respectively. The result showed that the differences of agronomic traits among different sowing dates were extremely significant. The agronomic traits, such as plant heigth, spike length, spike number, grains per spike, 1000-grain weight of Chuannongl6 on date VII were dropped 18.4%, 40.5%, 13.6%, 20.2%, 22.3% respectively. And H461 were dropped 18.2%, 44.9%,18.0%, 88.1%, 15.2% respectively. The agronomic traits index of Chuannong 16 and H461 were decreased along with the delay of sowing date. These indexes were effected significantly by sowing date. The decrease range and change rule existed differerces. H461' traits indexes of plant heigth, spike length, spike number, grains per spike, 1000-grain weight were higher than Chuannong 16' on the same sowing date. These showed the specificity of H461.4. The grain qualities of Chuannong 16 and H461 were analysed in different sowing date respectively. The result showed that the grain qualities were effected significantly by sowing date and the grain qualities were improved by the late sowing. But the change rule of grain qualities existed differerces between the two materials, and H461 waved greatly. The protein, wet gluten, zeleny, water A, develop time, extention of H461 were better and more stable.5. The correlation of agronomic trait and grain quality of Chuannong 16 and H461 were analysised respectively. The results showed that the tiller number of Chuannong 16 was not correlated with other agronomic trait, but it was correlated with grain qualities in late sowing date. The spike number and grains per spike were correlated signifieantly on most sowing date. The relatingship between agronomic traits and grain qualities were effected greatly by sowing date. The correlation was varied of same trait in different sowing date.
