The present experiment was conducted to determine the effect of different Female/Male Ratio on egg fertilization rate and hatching rate of Chinese Soft-shelled turtle Pelodiscus sinensis,in order to evaluate the optimum ratio of male and female. parental specifications,stocking densities,incubation method.The main results were as follows:1.The ratio of male and female could be up to 8:1 with stocking densities in 250-300kg/667m~2,each parental specifications♀1.5kg,♂2.0kg.The net profit could increased 1800-2000 yuan/667m~2 and the spermatovum increased 900-1200/667m~2 without increasing the body of water and investment,while the ratio of male and female was increased from 5:1♀/♂ratio to 8:1♀/♂ratio.2.The ratio of male and female(8-5:1) didn't significantly influence hatching rate with all more than 90%(P>0.05),it could be able to meet the needs of production practice.3.The Appropriate incubation conditions were:sand diameter 0.6-0.8mm,sand temperature 30-31℃,humidity 5%-8%,and air relative humidity 80%-85%,tower-Shape Construction method.
