The purpose was to enhance the antibacterial activity and stability of bio-controlling strain K3 through compound mutation.K3 which was screened from our lab was mutagenized with UV,NTG,Co60,the enhanced strain was detected by C58 plate.In order to compare the difference between the strains at the molecular level SDS-PAGE and Random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD) was used.Though the method of agar diffusion assay and culture in liquid medium,the result showed that the strain of K3 had strong inhibition to the strain of C58.A strong inhibition strain with genetic stability was obtained from the original strain K3 by mutagenesis with UV,NTG,Co60.In contrast to the control,the mutant was detected one new electrophore band ,three enhanced electrophore bands and one lessen electrophore band by SDS-PAGE.The RAPD test revealed that the gentic similarity between K3 and WHK was 0.779;so all the evidence mentioned above proved that the WHK strain was strain was a mutant strain K3 and complex mutagenesis was a better method.
