In this study, the characteristics of citrus suavissima 'Seedless', citrus grandis 'Feicui' and citrus grandis 'Chuhong' from Lishui in Zhejiang province has been viewed, and also investigated the pollen morphology and top-graft compatibility of citrus suavissima 'Seedless' with the fruit-setting of citrus grandis 'Feicui'. The results were shown as following:By the study on the characteristics of such varieties as, citrus grandis 'Feicui' and citrus grandis 'Chuhong', the results indicated that citrus suavissima 'Seedless' had many good traits as seedlessness, oval round with a shape index of 1.0. It had an average weight 150g, stored long time at room temperature, high-yield with average 36.1kg per tree and 27075kg per hectare after three years top grafting. The traits of citrus grandis 'Feicui' and citrus grandis 'Chuhong' can be summarized as following: good quality, strong disease resistance and extensive adaptability, stable high yield, suitable for long distance shipping, simple cultivation technologies. The pollen morphology of citrus suavissima 'Seedless' was examined in this study with surveying the pollen content, viability and germination rate.It was found that the flower organ developed normally. The difference between citrus suavissima 'Seedless' and citrus suavissima Tanaka in terms of pollen morphology was that the former had low pollen germination rate, Therefore, the reason of seedless maybe caused by pollen abortion and poor germination rate rather than the deformity. In this study, citrus suavissima 'Seedless', citrus grandis 'Feicui' and citrus grandis 'Chuhong' were used as scion. The lime and citrus trifoliata were used as rootstocks. The citrus suavissima Tanaka, satsuma mandarin, Citrus paradiai and sweet orange were used as interstocks. Those varities grafting patterns showed the high graft compatibility between the scion and rootstocks. These three varieties could restore growth status in the first year and bear fruit the next year with the target of restore yield at the third year. It showed that the individual plant yield of citrus grandis 'Chuhong' at the second year after top-grafting could reach 10.5kg with 38.5kg at the third year. The individual plant yield of citrus grandis 'Feicui' and citrus suavissima 'Seedless' at the third year after top-grafting could reach 36.9kg and 36.1kg According to the study on the effect of different pollination ways on the fruit-setting of citrus grandis 'Feicui' , it was concluded that some citrus grandis 'Huyou' van ties can be introduced when building or re-building orchards. If it would come inadequate blooming date in some years, suitable varities pollens, for example citrus grandis 'Huyou' can be chosed to artificial pollination, which could remarkably increase the rate of fruit setting and achieve the purpose of stable high yield.
