| In this study, ten families of pearl oyster Pinctada fucata were established. The growth traits and shell width index of these Pinctada fucata families were compared, and also the growth at each month of Pinctada fucata families were observed. Immune and digestive enzymatic activities of ten Pinctada fucata families were researched. In addition, the effects of salities and pH on the activities of digestive enzymes of the Pinctada fucata colony were studied. The main results were listed as below:1. The foundation and comparation of the growth traits of ten Pinctada fucata familiesTen families of pearl oyster Pinctada fucata are established by using single pair mating method and their growth traits in two phases are studied. The results showed that F1, F2 and F5 were more excellent than other ones in the growth traits as a whole. So they were considered as the materials for further slecetive breeding for fast growth. The family F5 was the biggest one in shell width index under the comparation of each familiy, F2 and F1 took the second and third places respectively.2. The comparation of several immune enzymatic activities of Pinctada fucata familiesThe research on the activites of four immune enzymes in blood serum showed: Among these families, the order of the activites of AKP, ACP, SOD and POD was F10> F5> F6> F3> F9> F4> F2> F1 > F7> F8, F5> F10> F1 > F4> F6> F3> F2> F7> F9> F8, F6> F5> F2> F1> F9> F3> F4> F10> F8> F7, F5> F6> F2> F10> F1> F3> F4> F9> F7> F8 respectively. According to significant analysis, there were no significant differences among these families, except the family F8. Therefore, the activities of immune enzymes was not selective among these families.3. The research on the activities of digestive emzymes of Pinctada fucata familiesThe activities of three digestive emzymes were studied in Pinctada fucata families. As a whole, the order of the activities was amylase> cellulase> protease. Among these familes the order of Amylase activity was F2> F5> F3> F1> F4> F9> F8> F10> F7> F6, and there were no significant differences among families F2, F5, F3 and F1 (p>0.05) . The order of cellulase activity was F2> F5> F10> F1> F3> F4> F8> F7> F9> F6, and there were no significant differences among families F2, F5, F10 and F1 (p >0.05) . In a word, families F2, F5 and F1 were higher than other ones on the activities of digestive emzymes.4. The effects of salities and pH on the activities of digestive enzymes of the Pinctada fucata colonyThe study on the influence of salities and pH on the digestive enzymatic activities of the Pinctada fucata colony showed that: (1 )The optimum salities for protease, amylase and cellulase were 35, 30-35 , 30-35 respectively. (2) The effect of salities on protease was most significant, and there were very significant differences between any two different salities (p<0.01). (3) The optimum pH for protease, amylase and cellulase were 8.5,7.0, 6.5 respectively. |
