Energy ofα,βandγray from Radionuclide or accelerator is very high, which can take intense action to material molecule ,such as Nucleic acid and Protein ,also bring out extensive physichemical and biological effect. In this experiment we use 60Co-γray as radiant point to irradiate antheraea pernyi eggs and probe the influence of 60Co-γray to biological characters of antheraea pernyi. The dosage of radiation is 60Gy,120Gy,200Gy,300Gy,420Gy,560Gy,720Gy respectively. Dose rate is 60Gy/min. at the same time, the contrast is also set up. Repeat of every group has three times.Through comparing the difference on hatching rate, mortality at every instar, weight, proteinic contents in blood and genome between contrapositive groop and radiated group, we can find the influence to physiological and biochemical character of antheraea pernyi,to Nucleic acid and Protein from 60Co-γray.Experiment indicating: radiation dosage under 120Gy has no obvious impact on hatching rate and mortality of antheraea pernyi, but ,above 120Gy,with raising of dosage,hatching rate reduces obviously meanwhile mortality raises clearly. Radiated antheraea pernyi has show also difference in weight.weight of antherea pernyi in every instars shows decrease with increasing dosage of radiation.This tendency shows unobvious before the third instar. But after the instar, the tendency shows obviously. Besides, in configuration, with increasing dosage of radiation , grow of antherea pernyi, shows features of the longer growing season ,delay imolting ,nopupation, reduce of food intake, declin of activits ability and immunity,and so on.In order to explain above-mentioned affects on antherea pernyi by 60Co-γray in molecular area, we have collected blood ,distilled DNA in fat of antheraea pernyi from contrapositive group and radiated group and analyze protein bands or their part DNA sequence. Study result indicating: bands of blood protein electrophoresis of radiated group and contrapositive group haveDifferent in some protein bands disappearing, molecular weight of others protein reducing,or little molecular weight protein appearing. Meanwhile,by comparison with conservative part sequence of subunit(I) of cytochrome oxidase and by Blast analyze between radiated group and contrapositive group,we find there are two replaced bases,and one lost base .It illuminate that 60Co-γray can arouse Nucleic acid DNA sequence change,bring genic mutation. But the DNA sequence difference is unconspicuous. It may have relation to the time to select materials,to DNA short sequence and to evenings renovated mechanism of gene.These changes of biological character and molecular character show that 60Co-γray can act on organic molecule,such as nucleic acid ,protein ,and so on,also influence their structure and function. So it illuminated that 60Co-γray can work on biological physiology and growth and the high dosage 60Co-γray can bring serious damnification to biologic molecule,arouse biology death.
