| The genetic and cluster of yield and fiber traits etc of 23 named varieties on Island cotton in two years were analyzed. Seven fiber traits of 6 parents and their 30 F1 crosses of Island Cotton were analyzed for their additive and dominance effects by MINQUE (1) approaches. The results indicated that there were highly significant genetype effects on fiber length, strength, uniformity, ratio of reflectivity, yellowness, lint yield / plant, boll number / plant and lint percentag; These named varieties after Xinhai 16# had almost positive significant genetype effects on fiber traits, Xinhai 3, 12, 28# had positive significant genetype effects on yield traits. On the 1.99 distince, Junhai 1# was a category variety, Xinhai 6#, 8#, 10# belonged to a category varieties,Xinhai 16#,24# were a category varieties. On the 5.98 distince, Xinhai 26# and other varieties individual belong to a category varieties. On the 5.98 distince, all varieties merged into same category varieties. There wre still significant improved potential on hybrid progeny of these varieties having no significant genetype effects on certain traits.A genetic model, Yhg(ij)=μ+Eh+Ri(h)+Cj(h)+Gg(ij)+GEhg(ij)+ehg(ij) was employed to analysis agronomy and fiber traits etc of 317 varieties (lines) on Island cotton in two years were analyzed by MINQUE(1) approaches. The results showed that there were significant or highly significant genetype effects on leaf width, boll length/ boll thickness, boll weight, fiber length, strength, elongation ratio, ratio of reflectivity, yellowness, plant high, blooming chlorophyl. These averages of core collections through three kind of sampling were equal to those of resource collection. These percentage of variance difference through sampling at 15% and 10% were higher than that of through sampling at 25%. The core collection through sampling at 10% constructing from 31 varianties might respent the diversity of 317 varieties. |
