With the science and technology developments,heavy ion beams irradiation become more and more important.This research is mainly use heavy ion radiation on sweet sorghum, to study the effects of different doses in sweet sorghum growth, lay the foundation for the breeding of sweet sorghum.After treating of 40,80,120,160,200Gy heavy ion beams irradiation,the effects of physiological and biochemical indexes, enzyme expression, molecular biology are studied. Main results are as follow:1.Effects of heavy ion beams irradiation on physiological and biochemical indexes:low doses of radiation induced germination of sweet sorghum seedlings, large doses restrained,was kind saddle; MDA contents, Soluble protein contents and POD activity increased with the dose then decreased, then increased; Chlorophyll contents was kind saddle;2. Effects of heavy ion beams irradiation on enzyme expression:GSH-PX activity were either Leiyi or BJ0601 increased and then decreased; activity is either Leiyi or BJ0601 first and then decreased, and higher than the control; SOD activity is first increased and then decreased, remained stable, and then decrease rapidly; LDH activity increased with the dose decreased, then increased, with a low peak position; Effects of different doses on POD,EST,SOD isozyme:lack of enzyme channel, channewidened;3.Effects of heavy ion beams irradiation on DNA of early-maturing:Using 32 random primers to amplification,41 DNA fragments are amPlified.RAPD analysis showed that radiation had an impact on future generations of DNA, showing a DNA polymorphism.
