A large number of studies have shown that cadmium toxicity is closely related to oxidative damage, and cadmium can induce oxidative damage to different organizations through membrane lipid peroxidation or changes in antioxidant system. Musclin is a new polypeptide in skeletal muscle in mice which was found by Nishizawa and others, it expresses specificly in skeletal muscle. The mRNA expression of Musclin is regulated by nutritional status and the level of insulin and other hormones. In this experiment, mice from Kunming were used to study antagonism of vitamin C to heart, liver, spleen, kidneys and other organs and the impact of changes in nitrogen content in mice which have the cadmium toxity, Through measuring the content changes of CAT, POD, SOD and MDA in different organs of the Cadmium poisoning mice to illustrate the toxicity of cadmium, and research effect cadmium pollution and Vc intervention act on Musclin gene in mouse skeletal muscle and expression level of lipogenic gene, provide a scientific basis for cadmium poisoning prevention. The results are as follows:1. In the group with Cd, the activity of POD, SOD and CAT in mice liver was significantly decreased, MDA content was significantly increased, protein content decreased significantly. And the higher Cd content, the more obvious influence; the activity was much more higher in which the liver treated to by Vc than Cd, MDA content lower than Cd treatment, nitrogen content higher than Cd treatment.2. In cadmium exposure, the activity of SOD, CAT, POD of mice heart was decreased, and the difference was significant, MDA content increased, the difference was extremely significant (P<0.01). After Vc treatment, the activity of SOD, CAT and POD was significantly increased (P<0.05), MDA's formation was inhibited (P<0.05), protein content picked up, in which, D group on the relaxation of the role of cadmium poisoning was significantly higher than C.3. In treatment group of cadmium exposure, the activity of SOD, CAT in mice spleen was decreased significantly (P<0.01), MDA content increased significantly (P<0.01), protein content decreased significantly (P<0.01), in which the high cadmium group was more obvious than the low cadmium group; in treatment group acted by Vc and cadmium, activity of SOD, POD and CAT increased more significantly (P<0.05) than the group acted with Cd, MDA formation was inhibited (P<0.05), protein content picked up (P<0.05), in which, Vc alleviation of cadmium poisoning in D group was significantly higher than C.4. In treatment group of cadmium exposure, the activity of SOD, CAT in mice kidney was decreased, the difference was significant (P<0.05), MDA content increased significantly (P<0.05), POD activity rose after 8h, difference was extremely significant (P<0.01). And Vc can enhance the activity of SOD, POD and CAT (P<0.05) which were decreased by Cd poisoning, inhibited the MDA formation (P<0.05).5. Cadmium significantly inhibited the expression of Muschlin gene and lipogenic gene (P<0.05). Comparing the group treated by Vc and Cd with the group treated by Cd, the express level of Musclin gene and lipogenic gene were significantly increased. The expressions of Musclin and FAS mRNA were significantly negatively correlated (P<0.01), but significantly correlated with PPARy genes (P<0.05). There was no significant relation among the expressons of Musclin gene, lipogenic gene and TGH gene (P>0.05).
