In the view of putrefactive phenomenon of Salix Psammophila checkerboard in recent years, taken Salix Psammophila checkerboard which was sampled from Batuta-base in the southeast edge of MaoWuSu desert as object of the research,this paper analyzed corrosion law of checkerboard with different vertical location, different border location, slope position and ages through field investigations and soil analysis.Also soil corrosive factors such as soil water content ,soil porosity , soil organic matter and soil Ph value were analysed.(1) Branches both ends of the up and down of Salix Psammophila Checkerboard which were vulnerabilities for resistance to corrosion were corroded seriously.The deepest point was the most serious corrosion position and the near-surface position was the smallest.It showed increase first then decrease from the bottom part to the upper part.(2) At SN side vertical to prevailing wind direction, the corrosion degree of the ends of underground parts was higher than the middle position;at EW side parallel to prevailing wind direction,the corrosion degree of the ends of bottom,middle part,top of sand dune, dune slack, solar slope and shady slope showed a litter higher than middle position.(3) Corrosion law of underground part presents as following: corrosion degree of dune slack was the highest and the middle part of lee slope side was the smallest;the corrosion degree of the shady slope side was higher than that of solar slope side.For the dividing location and the overground parts,it showed that at dune slack, bottom of lee slope and windward slope the corrosion was the most serious,corrosion at middle position of lee slope side was smaller, the corrosion degree of the solar slope side was higher than that of shady slope side.In a word ,the corrosion at dune slake was the most serious and corrosion at middle position of lee slope side was the smallest among those positions.(4) As the decrease with age of Salix Psammophila Checkerboard, corrosion gradually reduced, and the corrosion was weakening from underground part to the ground .The underground parts of Salix Psammophila Checkerboard were paved in 2002, 2006 and 2007 were at the post of advanced decay, intermediate decay and incipient decay respectively;The border of Salix Psammophila Checkerboard were set in 2002 and 2006 were at the post of the intermediate decay and incipient decay respectively. (5) Water is the main factor of Salix Psammophila Checkerboard Corrosion, there is a significantly positive correlation with the correlation coefficient of 0.85 between the soil water content and loss factor of sand barrier;soil organic matter is another key factor in the moist sand layer.
