The experiment observed the factors(light strenth, temperature and humidity) all year in the solar lean-to without wall's greenhouse, and analyzed the datas about the growth and physiological index of cucumber variety Jinchun-4 in summer and spinach variety Xinbanji in winter cultivation. The results were as follows:1 The illumination in the solar lean-to without wall's greenhouse remarkably increased compared to solar greenhouse with brick wall, especially in the growing season. From the view of greenhouse construction, the rear end of greenhouse is better; From the view of daily changes of light strength, the noon is stronger.2 The lowest air temperature in winter decreased 1.8℃and the average ground temperature decreased 1.2℃and the air temperature at noon increased 3-9℃and the average daily temperature increased 0.9℃and the humidity in winter is lower but higher in summer and spring in the solar lean-to without wall's greenhouse than solar greenhouse with brick wall. But difference in temperature between daylight and darkness is bigger in the the solar lean-to without wall's greenhouse which is suitable for cucurbitaceae and solanaceae plants.3 The heat stress inhibited the yield ,the growth ,the number of leaf, the ratio of androecium and fruits of cucumber ,in addition the waning phenomenon and melting melon are serious at the later stage of growing. The effects of applying CO2 gas fertilizer on cucumber in the greenhouse are evident.4 CO2 application under high temperature accumulated the production of photosynthese and especially the content of sucrose is higher 0.184% than the control. The photosynthetic rate of cucumber is higher than the control at 14:00 to 18:00 in the afternoon.
