Study on diversity and productivity of steppe community under different grazing systems, and verify intermediate disturbance hypothesis of plant variety and the grazing optimization hypothesis of plant productivity, this paper study diversity and productivity of Stipa Krylovii Roshev+Leymus chinensis community under different grazing systems. The main results as followed:per unit area diversity of Stipa Krylovii Roshev+Leymus chinensis community under one every twenty two days grazing treatments is most, moreover all spices of community is largest under three every twenty two days grazing treatments. However, variable diversity under different grazing systems is not unimodal curve measured by Shannon diversity index,Simpson diversity index,Shannon evenness index and Simpson evenness index. Productivity of plant tallies with the grazing optimization hypothesis, productivity of plant is most under one every twenty two days grazing. But on level of functional community and individual, except cultivated perennial grass and Stipa Krylovii Roshev is consistent with community, other the plant of functional community changed is different under different grazing systems. The results further show steppe ecosystem complexity under grazing systems.
