The effect of different branch angle and clip quantity on canopy,growth and fruit quality were conducted with 15 year old Fuji apple trees from 2008 to 2010 in the northwest A&F university apple station orchard which located in shaanxi province BaiShui City. In winter pruning period set 90°, 120°and 150°three different Angle treatment, andCK(Not trimmed),20%, 30%, 40% and 50% five trestments on different trimming test. Use single tree as as an experimental plot, repeat three times.three Investigation and determination the canopy index, the flower fruit, new shoots grow and shoot composition, quality, net photosynthetic rate, the fruit quality index. Main research results are as follows:1.The different branch angle experiment show: 120°test have the the best effect. 120°'s average opening in the growing season is 34.13,which significantly higher than 90°treatment; the PPFDTotalUnder/Day is 14.39 MJorMol/m2day,which significantly lower than the other two.120°threatment is good for shoots and leaves growth, make the canopy have bigger light intercepted ability, branch have reasonable angle, is good to internal ventilating and pervious to light. The dynamic changes of the canopy index show, 120°treatment's change trend is easing. Is show that 120°processing under the tree leaves and maintain earlier formation screen, a long time to light the crown to intercept. 120°shoot component is 0.29/0.13/0.59, short shoot distributied in 0 to150cm area, have better leaf quality ,and the leaf photosynthetic capability in internal areas of the crown is strong, Fruit weight is 274.8g significantly big than other two, the fruit quality is good.2 The different clip quantity test results show that: the 30% treatment is the best one. Openning and PPFDTotalUnder/Day increased with the increasing trend of trimming, 30% treatment's opening is 33.67, PPFDTotalUnder/Day is 16.26 MJorMol/m2day. Because CK's shoot and leaf amount is big, which reduces the total radiation within the pervious to light; because the 50%treatment, Remove overmuch branches, the leaf area index is only 1.8, unfavorable to the light intercepted. The dynamic changes of the canopy index show, 30% treatment's change trend is easing., is show that 30% treatment's processing under the tree leaves forming speed and can keep for a long time, is good for light intercept. 30% treatment have more strong and long branches, While pruning light will due to large shoot quantity, but many branches shot than 5cm, but leaf have good quality, 120°treatment leaf photosynthetic capability Within each area of the crown is strong, the average is 10.57μmol/(m2·s), fruit quality is better. Clip excessive intensity, although the single leaf have high quality,and large area, but the branches quality of the tree is too low so against light interception.3 The related analysis results show that the content of chlorophya+b have good correlation.with leaf area, PPFDTotalUnder/Day and Total site factor .SSC have Significant correlation with openness and PPFDTotalUnder/Day two indexes The regression equations is Y = 24.284-0.258 X and Y = 27.290-0.753 X.
