Many different vegetables varieties that contain leaf vegetables(Chinese cabbage, Wuta-cai,spakchoi,spinach,mustard),root vegetables(lettuce,celery)and fruit vegetables (cucumber,tomato) were used experimental materials with pot planted under different cadmium treated in this study. The Cd absorption, accumulation and distribution of different vegetable varieties , the effect of Vitamin C and fiber content of vegetables ,ant-oxidation system ,enzyme in plant and other growth characteristics or quality indicator of vegetables were studied under Cd2+ spiked soil. that aim is screen out low-Cd accumulation vegetable varieties.the main of results in this research are as follow:1.Cd absorption was different in four tomato varieties ,with concentrations of Cd2+on the soi increased ,the aerial part biomass of four tomatoes was decreased (P<0.05)and cadmium absorption increased . Under 5mg·kg-1Cd2+stressed , Cd absorption was:Baoguan 1>Shengfen 1 and Nongcheng 906>Dongsheng 1.2.Under three concentrations of Cd2+(1 ,5,10mg·kg-1 ) stressed ,cadmium transferration was bigger than 1 in Shengfen 1, Dongsheng1 and Nongcheng 906, and under concentrations of 1 ,5mg·kg-1 Cd2 + stressed was smaller than 1 in Baoguan 1. Dongsheng 1 was low-accumulation of cadmium tomato.3.with Cd2+ tolerance increased on water and soil, the aerial part biomass of five green vegetables was declined ( P < 0.05)and cadmium (Cd) absorption increased ( P < 0.05). Under higher Cd2+ treatment (40mg·L-1,70mg·kg-1), the Cd accumulation of Chinese cabbage was lower and spinach was higher.4.Under different Cd2+ treatment on pot experiment, vitamin C and soluble suger content were reduced,nitrate and fiber content were heaving. Using gray correlation analysis shows that,Chinese cabbage was low Cd accumulating and stable quality varieties in five green vegetables under different Cd2+ treatment.5.The Cd accumulation of five greenhouse vegetables between cultivars were Highly significant difference under Cd spiked soils, the relative order of Cd accumulation by the five greenhouse vegetable species were Wuta-cai>celery, lettuce>cucumber, tomato. Overall, friut vegetables tending to be low accumulators, root vegetables and leafy vegetables tending to be high accumulators.6. The gray correlation analysis and comprehensive research showed that Huainan.6, Beijing wentula, Jixing.1, Jinza.2 and Dongsheng.1 were low Cd accumulation and good quality vegetable variety in this study.
