This article makes the Syringa Chinensis Will as experiment materials. The morphological progress of flower bud differentiation was studied by the method of paraffin section and changes of hormone content, nutrient content and kinds of enzymes were analyzed in the floral bud differentiation. It determined the period and process of flower bud differentiation and the relations during hormone, nutrition, enzyme and flower bud differentiation of Syringa Chinensis Will. The experiment results were as follows:1. The flower bud differentiations of Syringa Chinensis Will was divided into seven stages, including vegetative phase, initial differentiation phase, involumcrum differentiation phase, sepal differentiation phase, petal differentiation phase, stamen differentiation phase and pistil differentiation phase.2. In the stage of flower bud differentiation, the content of soluble protein in leaf of flowering shoot of Syringa Chinensis Will was more than leaf of non-flowering shoot.3. The contents of PPO, POD, and PAL of leaf of flowering shoot of Syringa Chinensis Will reached highest during the stage of physiological differentiation. And the accumulation was more than leaf of non-flowering shoot. It interpreted that the high activity of these materials was propitious to flower bud breeding. And all of these opposed to the morphological period, the activity of each periods were higher than leaf of non-flowering shoot.4. In the flower bud differentiation of Syringa Chinensis Will, the high contents of ZRs and ABA promoted formation of flower bud. And high level of ZRs /IAA and ABA/IAA was good for flower bud differentiation.5. The content of JAs in the leaf of flowering shoot during the period of Physiological differentiation stage of Syringa Chinensis Will appears the peak value. And the accumulation of leaf of flowering shoot was more than leaf of non-flowering shoot. It illustrated that the high concentration of these materials was propitious to flower bud breeding.
