With population growth and social development, water resources in the world has become a scarce resource. From November 2008 to early 2009, the main winter wheat producing areas had a large area of water resources scarcity in northern China in early 2009, which caused reduction of China's grain output. At present, the water resources short has already become restricts our agricultural development "the bottleneck" the factor, the economize on water and the highly effective water used have received national and government's value. The accuracy of FDS research, in order to update the current agricultural soil moisture monitoring methods, while the method is extended to the region (Dezhou City).This article mainly synthesized in the test house to Yucheng Experimental Station, Chinese Academic of Sciences in 2001~2008 year soil moisture data (to synthesize test house by Yucheng to provide) carries on the analysis, unified the FDS soil moisture sensor instrument's accuracy test research, improved the existing agricultural state of moisture retention monitoring method, and this method promotion to region in (Dezhou) soil state of moisture retention monitor.The main contents and conclusions of this research are as follows:1.The data of soil moisture content in 2001-2004 were obtained from Yucheng Experimental Station, Chinese Academic of Sciences. The result shows that, there was a certain variability with soil moisture content in 0~50cm. it is stabilized below 60cm.It shows that the soil moisture is basically the same by winter wheat and each layer of 0~150cm soil moisture have a certain degree of correlation and maize soil moisture in 0~150cm.The suitable moisture sensor's laying place is at the depth of 10cm (or 20cm),50cm,110cm,130cm,140cm and 150cm under the earth.2. The Dynamic measuring data of soil moisture content in 2001-2007 were obtained from Yucheng Experimental Station, Chinese Academic of Sciences. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and correlation test. It is concluded that the root layer of 0-50cm soil moisture is only 30cm soil depth is relatively accurate. As a result, the best root layer for determining soil moisture content is at the depth of 30cm.3. Yucheng will have two kind of soil texture, according to the different bulk density. According to the FDS laboratory calibration,the result indicated that when surveys the loam soil sample, the bulk density is not obvious to the FDS soil moisture sensor's observed value influence, but FDS soil moisture sensor when surveys the sandy soil sample, the bulk density is different, the demarcation formula is different, namely FDS soil moisture sensor when application survey needs to defer to the different bulk density to carry on.4.Loam backfill in the barrel and plant the wheat. there is a certain structure in the soil after 4 months. Each of barrel was controlled into different soil moisture profile from irrigation. A comparison of measuring soil water content with oven chy, neutron probe and FDS, The result indicated that each barrel internal standard decides the formula to be good.5.Study on the temperature effect on the FDS and EC5, based on the laboratory calibration. The results show that, EC5 and FDS should modify according to the standard temperature calibration before the field monitoring.6.FDS calibration results at October 11,2009 will be used in Dezhou soil moisture monitoring sites established, distribution by the principle of soil moisture monitoring, the establishment of 100 monitoring points, and draw contour lines using surfer8.0, then study on the farmland area on the Dezhou city spatial trend of soil moisture monitoring data. The result indicated that Dezhou's soil state of moisture retention basically is suitable winter wheats' growth.
