Cadmium is the heavy metal with strong biological toxicity. It is widely distributed in nature, and mainly be the form of greenockite. In the past years, because of the high-speed urbanization development process and the rapid development in industrial and agricultural, a wide range of our fields were polluted by the cadmium pollution in different degrees. It came to the results that our food security and the people's health have been seriously affected. Border cells are recently defined alive population sloughed from root tips and loosely adhered in the water soluble mucilage. The research has discovered that the border cells would protect and defense the plant when it be forced by the heavy metals. But so far, the studies on the relationship between the rice border cells and cadmium are not reported. Therefore, this thesis explores two kinds of rice breeding material with different capacity of absorption of cadmium. The study on two kinds of border cells from rice breeding materials with training of fog in different times and different degrees cadmium treatment, the influence that the border cells to the root POD,MDA, oxidizing ability of root, root morphology,and the content change of the cadmium in the different parts of the plant cell wall. The main achievements of our studies are as following:(1) Low concentration cadmium processing(0.5mg/L) have accelerated the number of the root border of rice breeding material and pileorhiza pectinesterase. The number and survival of two types rice material root border cells have been held as cadmium the concentration increases, when the cadmium solution to the concentration 3 mg/L, the border cells of rice with the greatest toxicity in all tested.(2) when the cadmium solution to the concentration lmg/L, the number of border cells and the pileorhiza pectinesterase of the Cadmium-resistant rice materials named Mianhui725 have been accelerated,but the sensitive material named Minghui63 two types rice material root border cells have been significantly inhibit。Concentration in the same treatment, two rice material from various processing time of the ordinance, Minghui63 in all levels to deal with the difference between a shock in the ordinance and its Miahui725 of cadmium sensitivity than cotton ordinance Miahui 725. (3) Under cadmium stress, the removal of the edge of cadmium rice roots of the cell after a pod activity are lower than to go to the edge of a cell removal edge.
