Banded leaf and sheath blight (BLSB) in maize (Zea mays L.) is an important disease in the world's tropical/subtropical maize growing areas. Lake of genetic resources for corn sheath blight in the breeding resistance genes. Now, the key is to excavation resistance genes. In this study, we firstly is to identify to 198 inbred lines for sheath blight resistance and agronomic traits by infection of Maize R.solani AG1-IA; then combined with genotype data of SSR to association analysis, and diged out sheath blight resistance association markers to provide the basis for improvement of corn and sheath blight resistance. The findings are as follows:1. After two years of artifieal infection fungi, we found that most of the inbred lines are susceptible or highly susceptible materials, only CML396 has medium resistance.2. we get yield traits date of these 198 maize inbred lines, including the ear diameter, ear length, ear weight, axle load and the 100-kernel weight, etc. Screen out 68 SSR polymorphic primers.3. Population structure analysis showed 198 maize inbred lines were classified as six differrent subgroups which is respectively,LAN, PA,PB,SPT and the LRT.4. Identified 26 QTL for resistance to BLSB located on chromosomes 2,3,4,5, and 10. Three markers (umc1202, umc2190 and umc1505) associated with resistance to sheath blight significantly p<0.05.5. In yield-related traits,26 QTL were found on all 10 pairs of chromosomes of maize. Seven markers (umc1069, phi065, phi328175, dupssrl2, bnlg1714, umc1014, bn-lg1805) associated with ear weight trait significantly p<0.01. Four markers (umcl384, umc1008, umc1088, bnlg1031) associated with 100-kernel weight trait signigficantly p<0.05 or p<0.01.
